About WildAx motorhomes
WildAx Motorhomes was founded in 2006 by Duncan Wildman, who remains managing director, and builds high-specification panel-van conversions from its factory at Lock View, Lowfields Business Park in Elland, West Yorkshire. The company started with two people and now employs around seventy, and in 2017 it joined the French-headquartered Rapido Group, sitting alongside Rapido, Dreamer, Itineo, Westfalia and Roadtrek in one of the largest leisure-vehicle groups in the world. WildAx holds European Whole Vehicle Type Approval and is NCC-approved. The range is split across the Aurora (rear fixed bed two-berth), Aurora XL (three-berth, three travel seats), Solaris (5.99m four-berth with four belted seats, a recurring Caravan and Motorhome Club Design Award contender), Solaris XL (6.35m four-berth with fixed bunks aimed at families), Constellation (two-berth with a lounge that converts to a king-size bed), and the larger Altair, Equinox, Europa, Meteor, Pulsar and Triton ranges. Conversions use Fiat Ducato, Citroen Relay, Ford Transit, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and MAN TGE base vehicles, with the upper-tier models featuring an optional Skyview panoramic cab roof window. WildAx announced plans in 2023 for a larger purpose-built factory expected to come on stream from 2026.
