What is Motorhome Pig?
Motorhome Pig is a family-run motorhome brokerage in Halifax, West Yorkshire. We sell motorhomes, campervans and caravans on behalf of their owners: we value the vehicle, photograph and advertise it, handle every enquiry and viewing, and manage a safe completion. You keep your motorhome while it is for sale, and you pay nothing unless it sells.
In practice the process runs in four steps. We start with an honest valuation and agree an asking price with you. We then build the advert - professional photographs, a written description and, where we can, a walkaround video - and market it nationally, including through Auto Trader. From there we screen every enquiry, weed out the time-wasters and scammers, and arrange viewings around you. When a buyer commits, we handle the negotiation and the paperwork, and the keys only change hands once cleared funds are confirmed.
We also buy selected motorhomes outright for cash if you would rather have a quick, clean sale. Most people who ask for a cash price choose brokerage once they have seen both numbers side by side, but we will always show you both.

Motorhome Pig began with a simple idea from our founder, Gary Cheetham - a lifelong motor trader and MCEA Registered motorhome professional. After decades running motor dealerships, including the award-winning SoManyBikes, and later servicing motorhomes on the family farm in Halifax, he saw how many owners struggled to sell on their own.
They were wasting weekends dealing with time-wasters and scammers, and being pushed towards low trade offers on a vehicle they had looked after for years. His reputation had been built on straight talk, fair prices and looking after customers like neighbours. That is not a slogan we invented for a website - it is the reason the same customers keep sending their friends, and it is why the reviews read the way they do.
So, in 2025, Gary and his son Gary Lewis Cheetham launched Motorhome Pig: a family-run, technology-powered brokerage that brings honesty and expertise back into the buying and selling process. Today the team runs the operation from Halifax, West Yorkshire, helping people across the UK buy and sell motorhomes safely and confidently.

We also buy selected motorhomes outright for cash, where we make our margin on the resale instead. We tell you which of the two routes suits your motorhome before you commit to either.

From a piggy bank. Gary Cheetham had a NatWest piggy bank as a child - the place every saved pound went towards something that mattered. The name is a reminder of what the business is for: protecting value, being careful with money, and doing things properly. A motorhome is a big asset, and it belongs in the piggy bank.
