About Eura Mobil motorhomes

Eura Mobil GmbH is a German motorhome manufacturer based in Sprendlingen, Rhineland-Palatinate. The company was founded in 1959 as Blessing KG building caravans, adopted the Eura Caravan brand in 1969 after the takeover of Mayr KG, and switched to motorhome production in 1983, becoming Eura Mobil GmbH. It moved into A-class integrated motorhomes with the Integra in 2000, the same year it acquired the brand rights to Karmann-Mobil, which now operates as a sister brand alongside Forster within the Eura Mobil house. The whole group has been part of the French Trigano Group since 2005, sitting alongside Benimar, Challenger, Mobilvetta, Panama and Roller Team. Eura Mobil is best known for its wood-free, fully-bonded SLC (Sealed Long Lasting Construction) body, introduced from 2006, which uses GRP sandwich panels and aluminium profiles instead of timber for stability and winter use. The current range covers the Activa One overcab, the Profila T and Profila RS low-profiles, the Contura low-profile, the Integra Line and flagship Integra A-class, plus the rugged Terra and four-wheel-drive Xtura. Most models use the Fiat Ducato AL-KO chassis, with Mercedes Sprinter options at the top end. UK buyers typically come to Eura Mobil for the wood-free body and double-floor heating layout.

Frequently asked questions about Eura Mobil motorhomes

Are Eura Mobil motorhomes good quality?

Eura Mobil has built its reputation on its SLC sealed bonded body, introduced in 2006, which is wood-free and uses GRP sandwich panels and aluminium profiles rather than timber framing. That makes the bodies very resistant to damp and well suited to year-round use. Models like the Integra A-class and Profila T are well-regarded in the German press and have won Promobil Motorhome of the Year category awards.

Who owns Eura Mobil?

Eura Mobil has been part of the French Trigano Group since February 2005. Within the Eura Mobil house, the company also runs the Karmann-Mobil and Forster brands. Trigano is one of Europe's largest leisure-vehicle groups and also owns Benimar, Challenger, Mobilvetta and Roller Team.

What chassis do Eura Mobil motorhomes use?

Most of the Eura Mobil range is built on the Fiat Ducato, frequently with the AL-KO low-line chassis to allow the brand's signature double-floor layout. The higher-end Integra and some Profila models are offered on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The four-wheel-drive Xtura uses a 4x4 Fiat Ducato platform for off-grid touring.
