Yes, structurally - the Relay, Ducato and Peugeot Boxer are all built on the same Sevel platform at the same Italian factory and share their cab, bodyshell and dimensions. The Relay uses Stellantis BlueHDi diesels rather than Fiat's MultiJet engines, wears Citroën badging and is serviced through the Citroën dealer network, but mechanically a Relay-based motorhome is effectively a re-badged Ducato.
Are Citroën SpaceTourer and Berlingo good for campervan conversions?
Both are popular for compact, "stealth" campers that double as everyday family vehicles, with the SpaceTourer (5-seat MPV) used by converters like Wellhouse and Sussex for VW California-style pop-top campers, and the Berlingo widely used as a DIY weekender. They're easy to drive, ULEZ-compliant in BlueHDi or electric form, and fit in a standard parking bay - at the cost of less standing room and storage than a full Relay.
What sizes does the Citroën Relay come in for motorhome conversions?
The Relay is offered in four lengths (L1 around 4.96m through to L4 at 6.36m) and three roof heights (H1, H2 and H3), giving converters a wide choice of load volume from roughly 8 to 17 cubic metres.
