About Mobilvetta motorhomes
Mobilvetta Design began life as a Tuscan furniture maker and started producing motorhomes in 1970, building a reputation in the 1990s for high-end design-led A-class coachbuilts. In 2000 it became part of S.E.A. (Societa Europea Autocaravan) alongside Elnagh and McLouis, and SEA in turn was acquired by the French Trigano group in 2013; today Mobilvetta operates from the SEA facility at Poggibonsi in Tuscany. The current range covers four body styles all on the Fiat Ducato platform: the Admiral panel-van campervans, the Kea P semi-integrated coachbuilts (with the new compact Kea Kompakt added for 2025), the Krosser semi-integrated, and the K-Yacht Tekno Line, which is the brand's integrated A-class flagship and sits on the Fiat Ducato AL-KO chassis with an automatic gearbox as standard for 2025. The K-Yacht Tekno Design was selected for the Compasso d'Oro 2020 award, reflecting Mobilvetta's positioning as the design-led end of the Trigano Italian portfolio. UK supply is through importers such as Marquis Leisure, all left-hand drive.
Frequently asked questions about Mobilvetta motorhomes
Who owns Mobilvetta?
Mobilvetta is part of S.E.A. (Societa Europea Autocaravan), an Italian manufacturer formed in 2000 from the merger of Mobilvetta, Elnagh and McLouis. SEA itself has been owned by the French Trigano group since 2013, which makes Mobilvetta a sister brand to Auto-Trail, Chausson, Benimar, Roller Team and the rest of the Trigano stable.
What is the difference between the Mobilvetta K-Yacht Tekno Line and the Kea?
The K-Yacht Tekno Line is Mobilvetta's flagship integrated A-class, built on the heavier Fiat Ducato AL-KO chassis with automatic transmission as standard and the brand's most extensive standard spec. The Kea sits below it as a semi-integrated coachbuilt (Kea P) and now a compact coachbuilt (Kea Kompakt), on the standard Fiat Ducato platform.
Where are Mobilvetta motorhomes built?
Mobilvetta is built at the SEA factory in Poggibonsi, Tuscany, alongside other Trigano-owned Italian brands. The factory has been part of the Trigano group since 2013.
