About Etrusco motorhomes

Etrusco is an Italian motorhome brand launched in 2016 as the entry-point of the Erwin Hymer Group, the German-owned parent that also owns Hymer, Burstner, Niesmann+Bischoff, Dethleffs and Carado. Production sits in Tuscany, near Florence, in one of EHG's most modern European factories, and the brand is marketed on the pitch of German engineering with Italian design. The range covers four main families: the CV campervans (CV 540 DB on the medium-wheelbase Fiat Ducato, CV 600 and CV 640 on the longest 6.36m Ducato), the T-series low-profile coachbuilts (including the T 6900 SB twin-single layout and the T 7400 QBC face-to-face lounge), an I-series A-class, and overcab models with a drop-down second bed. Everything is built on the Fiat Ducato platform, with a small number of variants on the closely related Citroen Jumper. The brand reached UK retailers from autumn 2018 and right-hand drive cars are built to a higher UK spec than mainland Europe, including ovens, fitted carpets, Truma Combi 6E heating and larger fridges. Typical UK buyers are first-time or stepping-down owners who want the EHG build standard at a price below sister-brand Burstner.

Frequently asked questions about Etrusco motorhomes

Are Etrusco motorhomes any good?

Etrusco sits at the value end of the Erwin Hymer Group, so the underlying engineering and warranty are the same German-group standard as Burstner or Hymer, just trimmed back on equipment and finish. UK right-hand drive cars are upgraded with an oven, carpets, Truma Combi 6E heater and a larger fridge as standard, which closes the gap on more expensive German brands. Build quality is generally regarded as solid for the money, with the usual Fiat Ducato base-vehicle caveats.

Where are Etrusco motorhomes built?

Etrusco motorhomes are built in Tuscany, near Florence, at a factory owned by the Erwin Hymer Group. The brand was launched in 2016 as EHG's Italian, value-tier label, initially sold only in Italy, Spain and France before expanding into the UK from late 2018 and to over 20 European countries.

What chassis do Etrusco motorhomes use?

The vast majority of the Etrusco range is built on the Fiat Ducato, including the CV campervans, T-series low-profile coachbuilts and I-series A-class. A small number of campervan variants use the mechanically identical Citroen Jumper. Right-hand drive UK cars are based on the Ducato.
