2024 Benimar Benivan 144 Campervan — Video Tour

OK, well, I've never done this before, but here is the fantastic Benimar Benivan 144. And to save time, I'll open the back doors and show you the garage space or storage space. Nice clean mattresses. Underneath this cabinet are two 6kg gas bottles and all the other goodies that you need for when you're on the road in your DIY stuff.

Underneath there is, as you can see, my ground sheet, my spare water bottle, drinking water, etc, etc. If I come round to this side, we have the van from the front and side, nice alloy wheels, there's a registration number, and there's down the side a van, and the shower room toilet window is currently venting. I haven't got the vehicle on hook-up at the moment because it's not required. Then we've got the driver's door, blinds are down, keep the sun out.

You'll see on the dash, which is an amendment, the mileage is actually 1883, because we've just got back from Malvern showground, having been up there for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Inside here, we've got a sous-seat with its captain's armchairs, there's my Pro-Loc, part of my caravan guard insurance, there's my new Pioneer DAB radio, and there's the 9-speed automatic gear stick. There's the table, I've removed the bedding, I'll explain that in a moment. There's the cushions and the happy camper, storage, television point, cooker, cooker's down there, which is an oven and grill, gas, there's a two-ring gas, and the sink.

Whilst we're in this part of the van, we'll go up to here, there's the diesel heating, it works when you've got 25% or more in your diesel tank, so you'll never run out of diesel. And there is the control panel, I'll switch that on, at the moment there's 33% in fresh water, 0% in grey water, I clear that out all the time. 0 volt, and it's 100%, the battery under the bonnet is 132 volt, and that's on 100%. That is tap, awning light, interior lights, and temperature, I'll turn that off before I forget.

And that's the area, there's all the books, there's hundreds of books for everything that's on this vehicle, including the service and habitation manuals. Here we have a fridge, freezer, which I keep the teatowel there. Once again there's the delightful double sleeping area, with curtains to draw across, and mosquito or blackout, there's one, two, three, four cupboard space, there's two bedside lamps with touch, and USB connections to charge your phone whilst you're sleeping. These are the mattresses, and there's the storage area, I'll sink that in a little bit, so you can see it all, everything as you can tell is brand new, unworn, it's fantastic.

I stuck those on, stick-on mirrors, for Sue. Inside here, there's a lighting switch inside that cupboard, but we have these, oops, which are sensor lights that come on and go off, magnetic of course, they would be, there's a shower, there's a curtain that goes completely round when you're in the shower, so you're not soaking wet through the sink and the toilet itself, all very clean and presentable. Three storage drawers here, for your pots and pans, and whatever else, and then I think the top she keeps for her, shall we have a look, yes, the knife and cutlery drawer. I've never done anything like this before in my life, so you'll have to bear with me, I can't think of anything else I really want to say about this, this table actually detaches from there, and when you go outside, you click it onto that back of the kitchen unit and you can have the table outside, there's the vent, there's two vents there, there's one in the bathroom, shower room, and there's two under the bed, keeping you nice and warm with your diesel trauma heating.

That little place over there is where the fuse boxes are, and I keep various little bits and pieces, there's two more heater vents, that's the gas hot water, and the one next door to it, with the red sign on it, that is the winterisation thing, it's a heated lag that's wrapped around the grey waste tank, the grey waste tank on this is 100 litres, the local fresh water tank is here, that holds 90 litres, and as you know there's 33% in that as we speak, in the grey water it's, as I say, 100 litres, but it's empty, and he's had Milton, whatever, to clean it out and flush it through. Up there is a smoke detector, oops, up there is a smoke detector, and a carbon monoxide detector. Right, I think that's all for now, I took a bundle of photographs, but I haven't worked out how to add them to the site. There's two keys with this vehicle, this is the vehicle, the bottom one opens the habitation, back door and side door, the top one opens the driver and passenger side, and then the big red Fiat sign locks them both, as I say there's two keys with the vehicle, and all the documentation and more, should you wish to see it.
