Key Specifications
2025 Volkswagen Crafter
Motorhome Pig is proud to offer this 2025 Volkswagen Crafter as a broker, on behalf of the private owner. It is a professional campervan conversion by VanGough Campers, finished in silver and based on the 2.0-litre diesel Crafter with a manual gearbox.
The layout gives a fixed rear bed over a large rear garage, with the seating area converting to a further single bed and a drop-down bed above. The owner advises the garage is used for everything from bicycles and camping gear to a mobility scooter or small motorcycle. It suits couples and small families who want a van set up for longer trips away from hook-up.
The owner advises the conversion includes a Truma D4E iNetX Combi heating and hot water system, a Victron off-grid electrical installation with a 400Ah LiFePO4 battery and 3,000W inverter/charger, a Fiamma F80S awning, Starlink Wi-Fi, a BRAVO snorkel, RHINO alloy wheels with BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres, LOCKS4VANS deadlocks and a chassis-mounted lock box. A memory foam mattress, a portable composting toilet, hook-up cables and a fresh-water hose are included in the sale.
The owner advises full service history, two sets of keys, comprehensive documentation and manuals, and that it is a non-smoking vehicle. Being under 3,500 kg, it can be driven on a standard UK car licence.
About the three keepers on the V5
The V5 shows three registered keepers from new, and there's a simple reason for that. The owner advises the earlier keepers were Volkswagen and then the conversion company, which built the van with the intention of keeping it but decided the finished fit-out was too expensive to retain. The current owner bought it from the converter with only around 300 miles on the clock, so in practice it has had one private owner. It is effectively a nearly new van with around 4,680 miles.

Questions & Answers
Buyer is ready to purchase and asked if the van has been on a weighbridge since the conversion.
The owner doesn't have a weighbridge ticket for the Crafter. He says he was told the laden weight is 3.5t, which is also the weight shown on the V5.
Buyer Tim (lead Timothy O'Brien, eBay enquiry) texted 18 Oct 2026: "I would like to view with the intent to purchase but not without knowing the gross weight." The owner had already said there's no weighbridge ticket and he was told it's 3.5t, which matches the V5. Asking the owner whether he'd get it weighed. Nothing promised to the buyer. There's already an open high-priority task to call Tim.
The owner isn't able to take the Crafter over a weighbridge. He's tied up today and working all week, so there won't be a weighbridge ticket. He's happy for a buyer to view it as it is, with the plated weight of 3,500kg shown on the V5.
Buyer asked for confirmation of the electrical spec, including DC to DC charging; this isn't stated in the listing.
The owner isn't able to confirm whether a DC to DC charger is fitted. He bought the van already converted, didn't build it himself and isn't an electrical expert. Everything he knows about the electrical set-up is in the advert description: Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-32 inverter/charger, Victron Lynx Distributor M10, Cerbo GX MK2 with GX Touch 50, Victron 400Ah LiFePO4 battery, Smart BatteryProtect 12/24V-100A, SmartShunt 500A, SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 with 400W solar, a Blue Sea Systems battery switch and a 12-circuit fuse block. A DC to DC charger isn't on that list. A viewing would be the best way to see the installation in person, and the advert says there's full access to the Victron system from the rear garage.
Buyer Tim (eBay enquiry, 18 Oct) replied 22 Oct to a re-engagement email: "yes I'm interested but only once I know the weight." On 18 Oct the owner said he couldn't do a weighbridge as he was working all week. Malachy told Tim on the 18 Oct call he'd ask the seller again if he could do it in future. Asking the owner again now that the week has passed.
The owner isn't able to take the Crafter over a weighbridge this week or next, as he has a lot on personally at the moment, so there won't be a weighbridge ticket. He says the van is within its 3,500kg plated weight, as shown on the V5, and he's happy for a buyer to view it as it is.

Seller's ID verified by Motorhome PigA quick honest note
Because you're buying directly from the owner, the condition of the motorhome is yours to judge on the day - and that's a good thing (it's why there's no dealer markup). We verify ownership and run an HPI check; the motorhome's condition is the one thing best judged in person. We'll give you a checklist so you can view like a pro and satisfy yourself everything's spot-on before you buy.
Our checks cover the seller and the registers, not the vehicle itself, and they rely on data supplied to us by third parties, so we can't accept responsibility for errors or omissions in it. However thorough our checks are, please arrange your own independent inspection and your own history check before you commit to buying.
