Buyer Anthony Mitchell is asking about cambelt/water pump replacement history on the 2015 Globecar Campscout before proceeding further.
The owner has checked his paperwork and, reading from the invoice, it looks like both the cambelt and the water pump were changed in 2023. That corrects what we said earlier about the cambelt not having been done. He's sent over a photo of the invoice as well.
Buyer Samantha Nunn (Autotrader enquiry, 4 Oct 2026) emailed on 5 Oct asking whether the van is 3,500kg / OK on a standard licence, because the advert says it is. Our first email to her said it was over 3,500kg (the history report shows GVW 4250kg, the seller says 3500kg). She's in Norwich and wants a video call before travelling to view. Once confirmed, the advert's weight spec may need correcting.
The owner says a previous owner had uprated it to 4,250kg to carry a scooter rack. He has since taken the rack off, and he has now had it downplated back to the original 3,500kg, so it can be driven on a standard category B car licence. He's happy to do a video call with the van there. Late Thursday afternoon suits him, or any time Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Monday to Wednesday he can only do after 7pm, and the light won't be good by then.
