2014 Rapido 790DF Motorhome — Video Tour

Okay so here's a video of our 2014 Fiat Ducato Rapido 790 DF. I'm just going to take you on a quick video tour because this is apparently what people like. You open the door, seating there for three or four people. There are two fixed seat belts on this chair here and that opens up onto this side.

If you want to construct a bed, it's a double-sized bed goes across there. There's a floor piece, a stand comes across there with more cushions and that is the standard Ducato cab where there isn't a drop-down bed, you've got masses of space and storage room. There's more storage in this van than would probably be required by most people. You can see there, there, kitchen, twin sinks, a little addition we made was I made up a chopping board which fits in there perfectly.

It has a drain sink, three-hole thing. Oven, a lot of people say the Rapido ovens are rubbish. They work very efficiently, just take a very long time. Normal size, there's also a double-sized fridge freezer.

There is the TV which swings right out, disappears inside. You've got quick reflection of me and all the feeds for that. e. driving.

Separate shower and separate washroom. This door here closes if you've got the bed down and you've got other people with you so that closes across there and these two sliding doors come right across so you can either leave access to the loo for your visitors or close them off completely and shut your space as well. Pretty reasonable sized cupboards hanging there. This one, it's got a rail at the top but you've also got optional shelves.

My wife prefers the shelves. I put those little hanging baskets on the side of the bed, really useful for books and phones and chargers and things. They were actually in the back of the garage. I moved them in here.

I've added extra, there's one down there, one up here but I replaced all the standard Heller type plugs with dual USB and USB-C sockets. Nice little touch there which is a thing for dirty laundry and the bed, full-size island bed and that actually the back slides down so it comes out an extra foot or so at night but just rolls in and goes away. More storage space under there and 240 volt sockets. It's a stand-on Rapido.

One's down there, another one's in there in the bathroom which most people forget about. There's a third one that's positioned here and I added a fourth one which is there with a light bulb hanging down from it. Light bulb was only there so I can tell when I've switched over to off-grid with the inverter so I've got this whole thing wired so all four sockets will either go straight off the hookup or if you're off-grid there's a three-way switch underneath the seat which changes it to the 200 amp hour gel battery and inverter.
