2008 Pilote Explorateur Motorhome — Video Tour

Hello, my name is Reggie. I'm a Renault 2008 Pilot, Explorer 715 FC. 5 diesel engine with an automatic gearbox. Let me show you around.

I have lots of features, security and extra. Here's one of them. It's a polar screen that fits on the outside of the windows to keep me warm and to keep me cool in the summer. I have alloy wheels fitted all the way round with wheel locking nuts and all the tyres are good.

I have also internal screens fitted all the way through on the windscreen and on the other side and my mileage is 56,000. As you can see, I have more security devices on the steering wheel and one here to stop the driver's chair being turned. There's also a tracker and immobiliser switch. This little gadget here, that controls the air in the rear suspension.

More security devices. This locks so you can't get in here. And then LPG. Two balls, LPG and flow gas.

We only use LPG. It's cheaper, easier to get to. As you can see, nice and clean and tidy down the side. A little gadget here, for when you're in Scotland.

Hooks up into the TV aerials. And we come to the garage. As you can see, there's light fitted, there's hot and cold water, great waste, brand new spare wheel and sockets. There's also a big wind out canopy as well and you can just about see the aerial on the top.

There's also two big solar panels and a satellite receiver on the roof. As you can see, the rear cameras, three cameras and a cycle rack. The cycle rack can hold 66kg but has been modified to hold a 40kg mobility scooter and there's a tow bar. As you can see, very clean, very tidy.

And underneath here, you can just about see, there's a skirt underneath to stop all the dirt coming up onto the back of the vehicle. The other side of the garage, another light and the hot air coming into the garage to keep everything nice and warm. Looking down, gisset toilet and in here is a Truma combi boiler, hot water and hot air. Inside here is an inverter and a lithium battery.

36 one cycles, 31 cycles of 6,000 so it's fairly good for another 3-4 years at least. So let me take you on the inside. All the doors can be pinned back and an electric step. As we come in to the cabin area and kitchen area, lots of work space.

The electrics for all the gas, heating and hot water. Extractor fan. These little things here are security devices to stop the windows being opened. Four rings.

An oven and plenty of storage and where the hot air comes into the cabin. Loads of storage. Well maintained. As you can see, all the cushions are all in excellent condition.

New 26 inch TV can be adjusted to fit and move to wherever you're sitting in the cabin area and also a new radio. Control panel. There's the sky, satellite box and free view box. Big microwave.

Three way fridge and freezer. Nice big freezer box. Nice big fridge. Now looking into the bedroom area.

The door can be closed. Coming into the bedroom area. Big island bed, really comfortable. There's a 120 litre water tank underneath and lots of storage space under there as well.

As you can see, there's lots of lights. Same again, cupboard space for the hanging. Lots more space here. And these are the two extra devices that go on to the window.
