Questions & Answers
Buyer Ian Cowley is interested but wants details on the Cat D damage, the repair, who did it, and whether it was inspected.
The Cat D predates Mark's ownership, so he doesn't have details of the original damage, the repair or who carried it out, and no repair paperwork. What he can confirm is that the motorhome has passed numerous MOTs and currently holds a valid one, no garage has ever raised any concerns about the structure, and he's had parts replaced as needed (new clutch, exhaust, brakes and battery). He says it drives well and is safe.
Buyer Mark Duncan is interested but wants to know if the motorhome can be driven without a C1 licence. He's spotted that the advert says 3,500kg while the VIN/records suggest otherwise.
Mark confirms the weight details are as shown on the V5C/logbook. He can't advise on licensing for others — any buyer would need to check their own licence entitlement against the vehicle's plated weight to confirm what they're permitted to drive. (For reference, the vehicle history report lists the Gross Vehicle Weight as 3,850kg.)
