It's a grill only, no oven. The sink doubles as both the hand-wash basin and the dish-washing area, with space to wash hands, and the water and gas both run perfectly. It also comes with a gas cylinder plus an additional full 4.5kg butane (blue) cylinder the owner bought new and never used.

Service history is patchy, with the last service around 18 months ago. No damp. In terms of damage, there's some rust around the wheel arches but nothing unusual for a van of this age (30-odd years old). The tyres are in excellent condition. The engine is not a turbo diesel.

It's cold water only, no hot water. The van has blown-air heating via a propane Propex system, which also blows cool air. The owner hasn't really used the heating as the van's only been used in summer months, and advises a habitation check (which is due) before using the heating.

Bringing the van over isn't really the answer — if the mountain road is closed, it's closed for Lee too. He points out there's an alternative route via Pontypridd or Aberdare, which he'd expect a local to know, so the viewing can still go ahead at his end using one of those roads. (Lee also mentioned the closure is resurfacing work, apparently ahead of the Tour de France next year.)

Bed layout: the front cabin converts into a double bed — the front seats make up the bed. It's a small van that converts into a sleeping area rather than having a fixed bed. The owner feels the video walkthrough covers the living area and layout well. The electric control board is in spot-on condition — it's a 240V hook-up that powers the van, fridge etc. The cooker is gas, and the van comes with a spare gas cylinder. There is a heating system fitted, though the owner has never used it.
