Questions & Answers
Buyer Joey asked about heating/water and bathroom facilities, which aren't covered in the current listing details.
No heating system other than the cab heating. Fresh water is held in a container under the sink with a water pump. There's no onboard toilet.
Buyer Andy asked whether the van has 240v and whether the back door is two doors or up-and-over.
Yes, it has a 240v mains electric hook-up, and the rear door is two barn-style doors (not an up-and-over tailgate).
Buyer Graham noticed an apparent decrease in the odometer readings between two MOT dates and asked whether the vehicle had an engine change or how the mileage dropped.
The seller had a reconditioned engine fitted in 2023, which would account for the lower mileage reading recorded afterwards.
Buyer Stuart asked for more information about any other mechanical issues with the van.
To the seller's knowledge there are no other issues. The van isn't currently driveable due to the failed seal in injector number 3 (the known fault already noted).
Glyn Davenport enquired via AutoTrader on 8 Sept 2026 about the 2008 Nissan Primastar (£4,500). He's asked us to "get the job done to see the vehicle running correctly" — i.e. wants the injector repaired so he can see it run. Owner's decision, so relaying to them.
The seller would prefer to sell the van as it stands, with the injector 3 fault as it is, rather than having the repair done beforehand — but she's open to offers.
Buyer Tyron Heaton selected "Damp/damage" and "Marks/scratches" among his questions on the listing enquiry form.
No damp or damage that the owner is aware of — just a few small age-related marks.
Buyer Emma Hunter asked for a walk-round video (already available) and whether the van has been insulated.
Yes — the walls, roof and back doors are insulated. The owner isn't sure what material was used. She also sent a photo of the insulation by text back on 24 August.

Seller's ID verified by Motorhome PigA quick honest note
Because you're buying directly from the owner, the condition of the motorhome is yours to judge on the day - and that's a good thing (it's why there's no dealer markup). We verify ownership and run an HPI check; the motorhome's condition is the one thing best judged in person. We'll give you a checklist so you can view like a pro and satisfy yourself everything's spot-on before you buy.
Our checks cover the seller and the registers, not the vehicle itself, and they rely on data supplied to us by third parties, so we can't accept responsibility for errors or omissions in it. However thorough our checks are, please arrange your own independent inspection and your own history check before you commit to buying.
