Buyer wants to know if a third small berth can be created between the lounge seating and the cab using the swivelled passenger seat plus an infill.
Yes, there is room. Nothing fancy — we use two upturned solid boxes between the sofa seat and the passenger seat, then lay the big cushion from the back of the sofa across the middle to make a bed. That's where my daughter sleeps when we use the van.
Peter Wakefield (buyer, north west) enquired 5 Sep via AutoTrader. He originally requested a Sunday viewing but says he sent it to the wrong advert; he's still interested in this one subject to the welding advisories having been addressed. Seller-provided notes mention welding completed after an MOT but don't specifically confirm the Oct 2025 advisories.
All the advisories we've ever had have been sorted after the MOT, including over £1,000 of welding last year — I've emailed in the invoice for that. A new MOT is also booked in for this Thursday (10 September).
Buyer Peter Wakefield (2004 Rapido Le Randonneur 709F, £17,900, Chichester) asked by SMS on 6 Sept whether the vehicle definitely has cab aircon, as there's an AC button on the panel. Seller's own spec lists cab air conditioning as NOT included, so checking to avoid a misunderstanding before he travels from the north west for a likely Wednesday 9 Sept viewing.
No, there's no air conditioning fitted. It has air blowers only — no actual AC.
