Questions & Answers
Colin Galbraith enquired via the listing page and selected "Damp/damage" as one of his questions about the 2004 Auto-Trail Tracker SE.
The owner says the last habitation check was done in October 2025. They also plan to have a new MOT and a habitation/damp check done in the next couple of weeks.
Buyer Laura (Nikki) Fanning asked twice on 17 Oct 2026 whether the 6m length is accurate, as it looks shorter in the photos, and whether it would fit a supermarket parking space. Earlier reply told her we'd ask the owner to measure it.
The owner has measured it: the overall length is 6.15m (6m 15cm), including the bike rack and tow bar. They didn't give the width.
Buyer (enquiry 17 Oct 2026) emailed asking if the listed 6m length is accurate as it looks shorter in photos. Listing and seller details both state 6m (19'8"), possibly a rounded figure. Asking owner to confirm exact measurement.
One more thing from the owner: she has also measured the width and height. It's 2.24m wide and 2.85m high. (She'd already confirmed the length as 6.15m including the bike rack and tow bar.)
Buyer Laura Fanning emailed on Sat 17 Oct at 13:53. Earlier she ruled the Tracker out because of its size, but she's now measured her drive and says it fits. She is disabled, has a dog and lives in Hemel Hempstead. She asked if the owner would meet halfway at a service station for a viewing tomorrow. No viewing has been filed yet because the location depends on the owner's answer.
The owner may be open to meeting roughly halfway, but tomorrow (Sunday) is too short notice. The only days she could do are Wednesday or Thursday next week, or the following weekend. Before agreeing she'd like to know: would you potentially want to buy it there and then if you like it? If so, she'd need to work out how she'd get home from the meeting point, so she's asking how you'd see that working.
Buyer Laura Fanning replied by email on 17 Oct to the owner's question about buying on the day. She wants to meet halfway at a service station, weekends only, and has a viewing request filed for 24/25 Oct (appt 2ab40ca9). She has asked whether the motorhome has been undersealed (we haven't asked the owner this before) and wants confirmation of the new MOT and habitation check in the owner's listing details.
The owner says the new MOT was done on 13 October and it passed with a few minor advisories, which are being sorted on Monday (19 October). The new habitation check is booked for Tuesday 20 October. She doesn't know whether it has been undersealed.
Buyer Laura (Hemel Hempstead) replied on 17 Oct to the owner's question about buying at a halfway meeting point. She also asked about the new MOT/hab check and about underseal. Tracker viewing request for 24/25 Oct filed in the same turn.
One more thing from the owner: of the two dates, Sunday 25 October in the morning suits her better. The exact meeting spot still needs agreeing.
Seller Jackie texted 18 Oct 09:44 that 10am was too early and 11am was better. At 11:16 the viewing was accepted and confirmed to the buyer for 10:00. Buyer Laura texted 12:54 "I thought they preferred 11.00 am?" Asking the owner which time stands.
The owner would like 11am on Sunday 25 October, not 10am. She's also asking whether you have a meeting point in mind. Which motorway services, roughly halfway between the Hemel Hempstead and Fareham areas, would suit you?

Because you're buying directly from the owner, the condition of the motorhome is yours to judge on the day - and that's a good thing (it's why there's no dealer markup). We verify ownership and run an HPI check; the motorhome's condition is the one thing best judged in person. We'll give you a checklist so you can view like a pro and satisfy yourself everything's spot-on before you buy.
Our checks cover the seller and the registers, not the vehicle itself, and they rely on data supplied to us by third parties, so we can't accept responsibility for errors or omissions in it. However thorough our checks are, please arrange your own independent inspection and your own history check before you commit to buying.
