This is a self-built conversion on a manual diesel Boxer van, configured as a 4-berth with 5 travelling seats. The layout features a fixed rear bed with bunk beds above, and the owner has created a practical living space with a three-way fridge, Alde heating, Truma heating, and a three-way fridge. Solar panels, an inverter, and twin leisure batteries provide independent power, while a reverse camera and parking sensors aid manoeuvrability. The cab includes air conditioning and a remote-controlled television.
The owner advises the cab and leisure batteries are new. This is a non-smoker vehicle, suitable for couples or small families seeking a self-contained motorhome.

Buyer Mark asked whether the engine has a timing chain or a wet belt.
It's a belt setup (belt-in-oil), and the owner advises the cambelt was changed at around 50,000 miles.
Buyer Emily asked when the last habitation check was done.
The van is a self-build conversion the owner completed himself over the past 12 months, converting it from a working van to a camper, and he's been using it at campsites for the last 3 months. There hasn't been a formal habitation service/check carried out.
Buyer Ian asked whether the bulkhead could be removed without impacting structural integrity, and whether that would be a big job.
The bulkhead is still in place.
Buyer Jennifer asked about service history, whether any major components beyond the cambelt have been replaced, and whether the windscreen (showing a crack in a video) has been replaced.
The cracked windscreen is still present — the owner plans to replace it soon. No other major components have been replaced beyond the cambelt (changed around 50k). The owner has only done around 450 miles in it since converting it from a working van to a camper.
Buyer Mark asked for the full electrical spec: solar panel power, battery capacity, and whether there's a DC-to-DC charger.
There's no DC-to-DC (B2B) charger fitted. The leisure battery is brand new with a large capacity — the owner says it lasts for days. He can't check the solar panel wattage without dismantling the setup, so he doesn't have that figure to hand.
Buyer Alex Fanning asked for confirmation that the fridge, cooker, heating, hot water, shower, water pump, toilet, lights and sockets all currently work, and whether a damp test has been done.
The owner confirms the fridge, cooker/hob, heating, water pump, toilet, lights, 12V and 240V sockets and the TVs are all working. The one thing that isn't working is the hot water.
Buyer Dennis Hughes needs a 4-berth, 4-belt camper for himself and two children for long-distance travel and wants to be sure the rear seats/belts are correctly anchored and compliant.
The owner had the seats fitted at a garage. The increase in seats/belts hasn't been notified to the DVLA yet, so it isn't recorded on the V5C at this stage.
