So Andy, this is your baby that you're ready to sell. Yep. You've put a fair bit of money into a beautiful motorhome. I have.
Tell us a bit about it. It's a four berth twin bed with exceptionally low mileage, with full service history. Amazing. I mean you've had it for a fair bit of time you mentioned, about five years, correct?
Yeah, just coming up for five years, yeah. So you must have been on some incredible adventures. Yeah, the last one we did was we did the whole of Ireland, arriving in Belfast, went all the way around to the west and then came back. I've heard of many people doing the motorhome thing in Ireland.
It tends to be like south of France or they'll go do a little bit closer to home, you know, like Wales and stuff. We've done all Wales, we've done all of Scotland. Nice. Where's the best place you've been?
I've got to say France. Really? I keep hearing this, it's becoming more common. Why is that?
Where in particular? They're just great sites, great food when you get there and the pitches are huge. The motorways there are just... How do you find driving with right-hand drive over out there?
It's pretty easy. I always struggle with the idea of being on the wrong side of the car on the wrong side of the road. Out of curiosity, what made you pick this layout? This, where we're sat now.
Those sort of move your leg and... I think, like with the French beds in the corners, you struggle because you have to climb over each other. Yeah. You know, you've got to go to the toilet at night, you're waking each other up.
Now, those cushions come out, the table clips on, so you can travel with the table rigged. Yes. And you've got two seatbelts. Two seatbelts here.
Small TV as well, ready. There's two TVs. Oh, you've got one in the bedroom as well. There's one above the twin beds as well.
And you've got twin beds. What made you go for the twin beds? It was just an option. The tables are in the cupboard, they fold away and you've got more weight.
Yeah, so you've got your dining space and it doesn't feel too crammed. I think the build quality is really important when it comes to buying a motorhome. Yeah, definitely. It's all about looking at how long it's going to last, if it's been well-developed, well-designed.
Not just about how it looks. And got to be kid-proof. Kid-proof. Would you say this one's kid-proof?
This one's kid-proof. Has it been very much tested? Yeah, it's what's going to get a five-year-old and it's immaculate. Yeah, I mean, you have really looked after it to be honest.
It still has that new motorhome smell, which is incredible. We've had two new batteries fitted, a leisure and a vehicle battery. Okay. So everything's been done.
And has she got a solar panel or is this one? There's a solar panel on the roof, yeah. We've replaced the mattresses. They've got memory foam mattresses, brand new memory foam.
Very nice. So it's definitely comfort. Oh yeah, definitely. It's like a hotel on wheels, isn't it, to be honest?
Yeah, and the amount of storage you've got, with it being a twin. Yeah. Both sides, underneath both beds, are all storage. And then you've got two wardrobes.
For someone new to motorhoming, what would you kind of say? Pick your layout. So what suits you the best? That suits you.
Okay. We've got friends, many friends, who've had caravans, motorhomes, and within 18 months they've changed it. We didn't like the layout. Yeah.
The van's great, but we don't like the layout. You want a little bit more space or you might want certain bed layouts. Whatever you feel is fit to you is probably the first thing to look at. Yeah, and when the kids come, the grandkids, you can shut both beds off.
And with this van, an optional who buys it, there's a four-bed only. Oh, okay, so you can make this into two beds. So it sleeps eight. Yeah, and you've got four seat belts, so you can have eight people in here, bring a car, and you're ready for a big family trip.
The biggest thing is when the grandkids are here, because they're only six and four, is the distance between where they sat here and where the cooker is. And then obviously bedroom down back. And then the bathroom. The bathroom is all to itself.
So is this one, how's the shower situation? It's a proper shower cubicle. Okay, and would you say it's a good enough size for someone? Yeah, yeah, and it's quite a powerful shower.
Do you know what, the newer vans I seem to hear all the time the showers are getting better and better. Yeah, the shower's really good. So if you want to get your hands on this beautiful motorhome, Andy has got it for sale.
