This video tour walks you around the 2014 Renault Trafic Campervan, a 2-berth campervan for sale through Motorhome Pig.

Renault doesn't build motorhomes - the Renault Trafic and Master vans are used by UK specialists like Wellhouse Leisure, Leisuredrive and CC Campers for pop-top and high-top campervan conversions.

Mechanically it is built on the Renault chassis, with a manual gearbox, showing 119,000 miles.

The video shows the living space, kitchen and sleeping areas — this layout sleeps 2 and has 3 belted travelling seats.

It is currently available at £15,500.

Video transcript

Welcome to Reggie, our black Renault traffic camper van. It's high top and medium wheelbase, which means there's plenty of space inside for the living area, but on the road it's relatively narrow and short, so it works very well as a stealth camper. I'll just show you the cab in the front. It's got just under 120,000 miles on the clock, full service history, three belted seats in the front, but these two seats here are on a swivel, so they can be rotated and provide seating in the rear of the van.

This is what it looks like in the rear, a quick guide. So there's this double seat that will rotate, I'll show you that in rotated mode in a moment. Then we've got the settee along there, which doubles as a double bed, folds out into a double bed, which I'll show you in situ. In the box there we've got a flushable toilet, cassette toilet.

Here we've got a gas cooker and a working sink with an electric pumped tap, and underneath a gas box that's vented to the outside world where the gas sits, and then clean water and grey water for the two 10 litre containers for those. Plenty of storage, this was always important to us to have plenty of storage, so you can see we've got four boxes there. There's the space under the sink, we've got what we call our only connect boxes along there, which are trays which we put useful things in. Kitchenware in here in these boxes.

You can see a frying pan poking its nose out and a wine glass poking its nose out there, and a coffee jug lurking behind the kitchen roll thing there. We've got plenty of space up above the cab as well, so a big storage area that fits in there. Two more storage areas under here with these large grey boxes sitting underneath, and then a tray there, a basket which we use for dirty boots, wet boots and waders and that sort of thing. So it's fully insulated throughout, ceilings, doors, floors and walls.

The floor's got this nice wood effect lino on it. I said I'd show you what it was like with the swivel seat round, so you can see there's plenty of room inside. So here it is with the dining table set up, and we've had six people sat around this table for dinner on one occasion. We'll even run for a seventh to stand here and do the food prep.

And then if one wants to use the facilities, there's a modesty curtain across here with the flushable toilet lurking at the back. Suppose if I'm being really serious, I could have opened and closed these curtains as well to provide that additional bit of modesty. One of the things you'll notice is that the inside of the van is really quite bright and kind of lively, but then outside it's kind of all subtle and dumbed down so that it works again as a stealth camper. You can rock up somewhere and park up without looking too much like a camper van.

Okay, and now a quick change to put it into sleep mode. You just slide that out, pull that out, drop that one down. And there you've got a six foot double bed with room to dangle your feet over the end if you're like me or anything taller than six foot. And so very cozy and comfortable.

And I think that's that's everything. It comes with a solar panel that sits in the front window, which charges the leisure battery. It's got insulated blackout blinds for the front and the back to keep it warm and snug when we're sleeping in it during the winter. There we go.

Our high top Renault traffic conversion. Enjoy. I'm very happy to answer any questions that anybody might have.
