2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Campervan — Video Tour

So here is the Sprinter. 2012 number plate, short wheelbase, high top, two seat belts, front and passenger seat, sliding side door, reverse camera and ladder, the electric hook up, solar panel at the front of the roof and a Fiamma 45S awning. There are anti-drill locks on the back doors and a sliding side door. Going in, we have a swiveling passenger seat, storage above passenger and driver seat, phone holder, YouTube audio, there is storage above the front compartment and that's the insulating blackout blinds which come with the van, there's also an external one that I'll include.

I've got a privacy curtain across the back just so that if you pull up and you don't want to put up all the blinds and everything then it's nice and quick. And then we have a diesel heater, two USB plug sockets there and that tells you how much charge the battery has. Into the compartment you can see the battery voltage and how much solar is making. There is a modem to turn on the diesel heater via your mobile phone when you're outside the van and an inverter.

The leisure battery was replaced earlier this year in the springtime. Turning round, we have a side window, a small sliding one and two very large drawers lined with carpet. There is also a wardrobe with mirrors and that's the lid to wind out the awning and that's the table leg, it fits into the floor there and the tabletop is just on the side wall. We then have the bed area with four cargo pockets, comfrey mattress with memory foam and fitted sheet and a blackout curtain.

This helps to keep the area warm in winter though the van's very toasty with the diesel heater. We have in the van a sink and a single burner. Underneath there's storage with bin space for some nice gin in there as well. More storage here, I use that for cutlery.

Also here, another storage compartment. If we go round to the back of the van, it's got double doors, a compressor fridge which you can access from inside the van, I forgot to show you that, 110 litre freshwater tank which you can fill here, a refillable gas cylinder, you can fill that up from LPG, any garage and a very warm shower which is fueled by the gas and comes from the hot water tank as well. There's storage in a drawer here, there's another drawer behind that also and then my favourite bit, I've got a pull-out burner which attaches by hose onto the gas as well and it's a great big walk burner. The bits for the top are underneath it and again a drawer here for storage and another cupboard for storage as well.

We've got electric hook-up facilities, that's the fuse box for the electric hook-up and here is the hook-up point IP44 on the outside, again that was replaced last year. If we go back into the van, okay so this is the cupboard where you can access the fridge from inside the van and turn it on, it just clips up, it doesn't use much electricity at all, you can keep that running all the time and then we have the framing view for when you wake up in the morning, there's mosquito mesh mesh for mid-use across the back doors so you can sleep with them open which is what we did in Spain recently and some hanging bits for your coffee. The side door window also opens and I've just got a wee blind across that for privacy.
