We've had all seasons here in Halifax today but that's not going to stop me from showing you around this beautiful Auto Sleeper Duetto. It's built on the lovely, easy to drive and automatic Ford Transit chassis. This has everything you could ask for in a camper van and you can drive it on a standard car licence. On the outside, you've got a classic wind-out awning to extend your living space and moving to the back, these rear doors are a fantastic feature.
Having these twin doors means you can open them up to let the fresh air in, enjoy a view right from the back of the van and load up any belongings with ease. Now the spec on this Duetto is equipped for full off-grid independence. It has a roof-mounted solar panel to keep that leisure battery topped up and it's been upgraded with a diesel night heater. Inside, Auto Sleeper's legendary British craftsmanship immediately stands out with that beautiful solid cabinetry.
Up front, we have a brilliant three-bed layout. We have a long side sofa and a single dinette seat. Despite the compact exterior, this van really utilises clever ways to maximise your interior space. The passenger seat swivels around, opening up the lounge and once you step inside, you can really appreciate the extra headroom with that high-top roof.
When night time comes, this lounge offers total flexibility. You can have it easily set up as two single beds, giving you unobstructed access to the washroom at night or convert it into one large double bed. As we head down to the back, the traditional Duetto layout works beautifully. On the passenger side, you have a fully equipped end kitchen with plenty of workspace for cooking on the go.
Directly across from it, tucked neatly into the corner, is your dedicated wet room washroom, complete with a cassette toilet and an integrated shower. It's a brilliant setup because it keeps all of your practical zones completely separate from your main living space. So if you're looking for a classic, honest, automatic camper van, this is the one.
