1995 Hymer B564 Motorhome — Video Tour

So here is the Hymer. I'll just take you for a little walk around. So that's a B564 left-hand drive, imported from Europe originally. I'll just turn it round to show you this working.

So, see the dials in kilometres. I've made my own little conversion here. And then this is just a GPS miles per hour thing that may or may not be useful. Yeah, we've got three windscreen wipers that all work.

We've got the lights and we've got indicators, which again, both work. And then we've got various buttons and levers, so it's all very explanatory. I'll just walk you through. So over here we've got loads of storage.

We've got... That never works and you want it to. All right, there we go. USB chargers here, a bit more storage under there.

Some sort of Euroblock thingy here. This is the inverter for the solar powers, solar powers, solar panels. Supercharged, awesome, ready to go. This here is, again, to do with the solar panels.

6 volts currently. The inverter has got USB and plug socket jobby. Here we've got the double drop-down bed. Dead easy, just like a seatbelt, click it down, pull it down.

It's got these blackout blinds attached as well. We've got more storage than you could ever imagine. We've got some foil thingies for the windows, a few more blinds. Spare curtain material.

Shut those down below. All of these open up as well, so they're all just pushed in. Loads and loads of storage. Same on the kitchen side, except I've mapped these out.

Why not? We've got more storage up here, plate rack cup holder thing. Just before we forget this, so this is the power, outside light power, freshwater tank and the wastewater tank gauge doesn't work, but the batteries do. They tell you they're pretty good.

So when I bought it, I had the brake lines and the... My brain isn't working. What are they called? Timing belt and the brake pipes all changed when I got it.

I think the windscreen wipers were replaced. Tyres are relatively new. I can't remember if they were brand new when I got it last August. Got a three-way fridge in here.

Good storage, bit of a freezer. Kitchen cupboards. More cupboards in a little tiny bin. We've got a swivelly top thing, can't remember the name.

Got one and a half sinks. This one, unfortunately, got burnt by somebody else. It's got the breadboard on the bottom of that one. So all these sockets you can see there, down here and here, work when it's on hookup.

Got another cupboard up here that's got a Polo original TV in it, I'm told. I've not turned the gas on at the minute, but this is the thermostat for the heating. So you either have it on water and heat or just water. And then that's 40 degrees or 60 degrees, dead easy.

Doesn't take long to heat it up. And again, just turn it on with that switch there. Another cupboard here, I've put a magnetic knife block in. Makes just a bit easier.

Kitchen drawer full of some useful items. We've got the Truma 12 litre boiler in here. And more storage again. Full height wardrobes with lights.

A hanging rail in that one. Just loads of storage in that one. Now this is the full service history kit. All the instruction booklets, some of them are in foreign.

It's been well looked after by everybody that's owned it. I think it came from somewhere in the south when I bought it. So it lived down there for a while and was super decked out. I was just going to say, this has got onboard wifi that the people before me had installed.

It did have a TV aerial, but that has been disconnected. And this is internal storage that links through to the outside locker, which I'll show you in a minute. More storage up here. Got the bathroom, which is pretty awesome sized.

Got a shower door. Got a shower sink. Toilet. Shower.

So there we go. Toilet. Toilet paper. Towel.

More storage. So this is obviously the table and chairs that turn into the... It's a small double, but there's an extension thing in that back locker that I showed you. So if you pull these out on both sides, there's a piece of wood that you can put across.

And then extra cushions that you can put across to make a normal size double. It obviously just means there's limited walking past the space. So this main side door opens as a half opener or a pulley. It's got a lever here to pull the stuff down on the outside.

I'll just take you outside before I run out of battery. So... Two 6kg gas bottles. Toilet.

Bike rack. Reversing camera. Ladders. Solar panels up there that I had upgraded when I bought it last year.

And then here is the external storage locker, so it's got the foils for the outside windows. Hookup. This is mostly just water and scooters at the minute. And this is the wood that you've got there to make the bed even bigger.

I had this dent in it when I got it. Just little bits of wear and tear along the bumpers, but it's 13mm. It's been really well maintained. Electrical coupling.
