2014 Peugeot Boxer Custom Conversion

This 2014 Peugeot Boxer is a practical and robust 2-berth camper conversion, ideal for those seeking a "weekend warrior" or a functional off-grid setup. Built on the popular Boxer chassis with a manual gearbox, this right-hand drive van has covered 63,000 miles. Featuring a raised rear double bed with a dedicated garage unit underneath, it offers an excellent balance of living comfort and storage for outdoor equipment.

Key Specifications

  • Year: 2014

  • Mileage: 63,000

  • Berth: 2 Berth

  • Seatbelts: 2 Travelling seats

  • Transmission: Manual

  • Drive: Right-Hand Drive (RHD)

Interior & Layout

The conversion is perfect for active campers:

  • Sleeping: Features a raised fixed double bed at the rear. This design allows for a massive storage area (garage) underneath, accessible from the rear doors.

  • Storage: The garage unit is ideal for stowing bikes, climbing gear, or heavy camping equipment, keeping the main living area clean and clutter-free.

  • Kitchen & Living: A mid-section setup that includes essential utilities, tailored for a cozy 2-person experience.

Features & Off-Grid Additions

While maintaining a focused layout, this van has been upgraded with essential camping utilities:

  • Electrical: Fitted with leisure batteries to power internal lighting and accessories without draining the starter battery.

  • Utilities: Includes a onboard gas system and an upgraded water pump for the sink/tap facilities.

  • Fresh Prep: The van is sold having recently been prepared for the season, providing a solid foundation for further personalisation.

Ownership & Maintenance Notes

  • MOT: Valid.

  • Maintenance: Being a 2014 model with 63,000 miles, it sits in a "sweet spot" for Boxer vans—high enough to have been used regularly, but low enough to offer many years of future service.

  • Keys: 1 Key provided.

Questions & Answers

Q

Buyer Darren Ford has enquired about the 2014 Peugeot Boxer and asked whether the price of £11,500 is negotiable.

A

Emily is flexible on the price and happy to negotiate, depending on what's being offered. She doesn't want to go too low but is open to reasonable offers.

Q

Buyer Rosie Smith has noticed windscreen damage in the photos and is also asking for more details about the Cat C write-off history — specifically what happened and what repairs were carried out.

A

Emily has double-checked the windscreen and confirmed there is no crack or mark — she believes it's just dust or an artefact from the photo. Regarding the Cat C write-off history, Emily has contacted her mechanic to get the full details of the repair work that was carried out and will send that information over as soon as she has it.

Q

Buyer Miles Singleton has submitted a very detailed technical enquiry about the 2014 Peugeot Boxer. He's asked numerous specific questions about the mechanical condition, conversion details, and off-grid setup.

A

Here are Emily's answers to the technical questions (some items still pending — she'll follow up tonight): 1. **Timing belt & water pump:** No, these have not been done. No proof or invoices available. 2. **Clutch/DMF, injectors, turbo, steering rack:** No known issues with any of these — the van runs very well. 3. **Gas safety certificate & gas locker:** No gas safety certificate. The gas bottle is not currently in a sealed vented locker, but it could potentially be housed as it's at the back of the van (visible in photos). 4. **Solar panel, leisure batteries & inverter:** Emily is going to check and come back with this information tonight. 5. **Everything working (hookup, off-grid, fridge, water pump, heating, shower, electrics):** Never had any issues. It's mainly been used off-grid and has always managed a weekend. When plugged into hookup, everything seems fine. 6. **Paperwork/receipts for conversion:** No receipts, but all manuals for everything that has been fitted are in the van. 7. **Underside rust/photos:** Emily isn't able to get underneath to take photos, but the van has just passed its MOT (April 2026) — she notes that any significant issues would likely have shown up on the MOT report. The only advisory was a front inner brake disc showing some wear. 8. **Current weight/payload:** Unknown — Emily doesn't have this information. 9. **Keys:** Not sure if there was ever a second key — she will double-check. 10. **Leaks/water ingress:** The windows needed new sealing about 2 years ago due to a leak at the back driver's side window. The resealing was carried out and there have been no issues since. No visible damage from the previous leak. 11. **Tyres:** Not sure when they were last replaced — they've been on since Emily bought the van (April 2022) and are still in fair condition. Emily will follow up tonight with details on the solar panel, batteries, inverter, and the key situation.
