Buyer Gerald asked whether it comes with 12 months MOT and when the cam belt was last changed.
On the cam belt: the owner isn't certain of a date. He's never replaced it himself in his 12 years of ownership, so he believes the dealer he bought it from (East Midlands Motorhomes) would have done it before he took it on in 2014.
Buyer Freddie asked whether the chassis is in good condition and whether there is any welding to be done.
As far as the owner is aware the chassis is absolutely fine, and it has never had any welding done to it. He's offered to take some photos of the underside when the weather improves (it's raining today).
Buyer Daryl asked about damp/damage, whether it has power steering, and whether it's taxed and ready to drive away.
Damp: no real damp issues as such, but there's a touch starting to come in around the toilet/bathroom, which can be seen in the photos. A viewer brought a damp meter last Sunday and said there was some but not much - it's visible to the naked eye as slight discolouration. Power steering: no, it doesn't have power steering, being a 1996 P-reg model.
Buyer Andy asked about marks/scratches on the motorhome as part of a general enquiry (also asked about damp, bed layout, fuel type, tax and price).
The owner says the general condition is very good, especially for a 30-year-old van. Given its age there are a few marks on the outside, but nothing more than you'd expect. He'd honestly suggest coming to view it so you can see it for yourself - both buyers who have viewed so far were more than happy with it.
