Kevin Barnett (Edinburgh EH12, repeat buyer) enquired today on the Lanark 2017 VW T6 (listing dbe3ec12ff3441b2b55a3f28d763cb27) and has asked repeatedly for engine variant/BHP, auto box service, cam belt, conversion company, pop-top make and wheelbase. He previously travelled to Glasgow for a van mis-described on gearbox, so nothing is being quoted to him off advert wording. Putting the questions direct to the owner so he isn't waiting.
From the owner: it's the 1994cc 2.0 TDI with the automatic gearbox (he hasn't confirmed the exact engine variant/BHP yet — he's checking his spec sheets). Gearbox service done at 52,000 miles. Cam belt changed by VW at 20,000 miles. The conversion was carried out by Caledonian Campers — he ordered and specced it himself from new and has the full spec sheets from new. He's unsure of the pop-top make, but it was specced to sit low and flush to the roof. It is the long wheelbase (LWB).

Yes, the owner has confirmed the van has an Eberspächer diesel heater fitted.
Buyer Kevin replied on 8 Oct to the post-viewing feedback email. He viewed on 6 Oct, said it was mechanically good and a nice drive, and has made an offer (no figure given to us) that depends on the service history turning up and on him getting his own vehicle inspection. He says he is waiting on gearbox and service info from the owner by email. Chasing that for him.
