The owner says the maximum authorised mass (MAM) on the van's plate and the V5C is 3,850kg. He has just had it weighed at a local weighbridge, and the certificate shows 3,260kg. That is the van close to empty, but it includes two full-size refillable gas tanks (both full) and over half a tank of fuel. That leaves a payload of about 590kg for personal belongings.
