Buyer Kevin is asking for detail on service work carried out and the pop-top make/who fitted it, ahead of a possible viewing.
Servicing has all been carried out by VW as part of a servicing package the owner purchased at point of sale from Leighton Vans — VW handled it at the correct mileage intervals, so the owner can't itemise exactly what was done at each service. The pop-top is a Skyline, fitted by Leighton Vans, and the owner has the receipt for it.
Buyer Dave Shaw enquired via AutoTrader and asked whether the van is the LWB model. The listing dimensions don't confirm the wheelbase.
It's the long wheelbase (LWB) version, with an overall length of 5.3m.
Buyer Chris Thompson enquired via the website and asked whether the van is the 110 or 150BHP model. The listing only states a 2.0L diesel engine.
It's the 150bhp version of the 2.0 TDI.
Dave Shaw viewed the 2021 VW Transporter T6.1 LWB today (9 Sep, 11am). He's texted saying he didn't check the service book and believes the cambelt/water pump need replacing soon. Owner previously advised servicing was done by VW under a package and couldn't itemise; seller details show cambelt not changed. Need specifics on interval to answer the buyer.
The owner had a full VW service pack from when he bought the van, so it has full VW service history — the last service and MOT were both completed in June this year. VW have never suggested the cambelt or water pump needed doing. He's also happy for a mechanic to come and look over the van with Dave if that helps.
