2012 Renault Trafic Campervan

The owner has now photographed and sent over every piece of paperwork he holds with the camper — 39 photos in total, covering the documentation that came with the van (V5C, service sheets and the paperwork from the dealer he bought it from in March). He hasn't picked through it, so anything recorded on the cam belt or servicing will be in among the invoices and service sheets. He's also happy to do the short video call, and a colleague is arranging that. We've asked him separately about the window over the kitchen area and any clutch, turbo or injector work, and we'll come back as soon as he confirms.

The owner has now sent photos of the sills, and of the window over the sink shown open, closed and with the blind up — so yes, there is a window over the kitchen/sink area. On the mechanical side, he's told us honestly that he doesn't know of any work having been done to the clutch, turbo or injectors. The owner has checked his V5C: it's recorded as a panel van, taxation class light goods vehicle — not a motor caravan. He's explained the mix-up on the video call: what he'd said was that he'd notified the DVLA about changing the registration plates on the camper, not that the DVLA had it registered as a camper van. So the V5C reads panel van / light goods vehicle.
