Buyer has asked detailed technical questions about this self-build Transit conversion that aren't covered in the listing or seller-provided details.
1. No compressor fridge fitted, but there is space to fit one — the seller had a similar setup previously. 2. Water tank is fitted under the vehicle. Capacity unknown exactly, but it provides enough for at least four showers. 3. No waste water tank fitted. Grey water from the sink drains to a portable container. 4. No solar setup fitted to the van. The seller used a backup Jackery portable power station with solar to run a compressor fridge. The fridge can also run via the onboard 12V electrics while driving, off the leisure battery for a period, or on 240V when hooked up on site. 5. Yes, there is a single gas hob fitted next to the sink inside, plus an outside BBQ point. 6. 6kg Calor gas bottle — not refillable. 7. Fully insulated — it was originally a minibus, so walls, floor, and ceiling are all insulated. 8. No damp issues. 9. No scratches or damage. 10. The control panel provides: leisure battery voltage, fuses, water tank level, lights main switch, water pump switch, mains/leisure battery on/off. 11. Hot water is provided to the outside shower only via a boiler. The diesel night heater runs on a thermostat for space heating. The inside sink has cold water only.
