This Transit-based campervan features a practical rear layout with a bench-style seating and sleeping arrangement. The owner advises that one side pulls out and the cushions fold down to form a king-size bed, with storage underneath both sides. A pop-top roof provides additional sleeping accommodation. The van is finished in white and is driven through a six-speed manual gearbox.
The owner advises there is a Ford service book with a number of stamps, along with paperwork from previous ownership. Two sets of keys are included. The van has just been through a fresh MOT, and has recently had a further service and oil change to keep the new engine's warranty valid. The owner also advises there is additional warranty cover on the new engine, which runs until July 2027. Buyer Gillian enquired via the listing and asked specifically whether there is any rust on the 2016 Ford Transit MK8 350 campervan.
No rust on the van other than on the rear door hinges, where there are signs of surface rust from wear and tear of the doors opening. The seller can provide photos.
Buyer Jordan enquired via the listing asking for the dimensions of the rear bed and pop-top bed, and what the payload is.
Bed measurements (seller notes these are in cm as measured): Pop-top roof bed: 1200 wide x 1900 long — not including the extra space at the back and where the roof plug pulls up to close the pop-top off. A wooden step attaches to the passenger seat to climb up. A specialist mattress was bought for this space; the space extends beyond the length of the mattress into the lower end. Downstairs/rear bed (made up): 1700 wide x 1800 long. Specialist seating that converts into a very comfortable mattress. Seller is 5'9" and can stretch their feet out between the units lying on their back. Payload/weight: Following conversion the van weighed in at 3060kg (weighed with 10 litres of water on board, half a tank of fuel, and the fold-out chairs, awning and tools on board). Against the 3,500kg maximum that leaves roughly 440kg of remaining capacity at that point. Since weighing, the only thing added is a left-hand storage shelf. Materials were chosen to keep weight down so it can carry 2 teenagers, 2 adults plus bags/fuel/water. Lots of additional storage under all the seats and above the cab. The toilet included is a Trobolo.

There is no air conditioning. Only the cab's standard hot/cold air system (heater/blower), no dedicated air con in the cab or habitation area.
