With an automatic gearbox and right-hand drive, it is straightforward to use on UK roads. At under 3,500 kg, it is driveable on a standard car licence.

Buyer Ray is asking about the infotainment system specification (Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, satnav) before deciding whether to view.
It's a Sony head unit with Bluetooth, DAB, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There's no built-in satnav — the owner prefers a standalone Garmin/TomTom as it's easier to keep updated.
Buyer Andy is keen and asking whether an extra rear passenger seat is included and whether the conversion is a 4-berth with a bed in a pop-top roof, before requesting a viewing this week.
Only 2 travelling seats — there's no additional rear passenger seat. There's no bed in the pop-top either, although additional boards could be added to create one.
Buyer Guy Lovegrove enquired via AutoTrader asking specifically about Euro 6 compliance and ULEZ exemption before deciding whether to proceed.
Euro 6 applies to diesel vehicles — this Viano is petrol, so Euro 4 is the relevant standard and the owner confirms it is compliant (the buyer is welcome to check for himself against the reg). On the year: it's a Japanese import, first registered in Japan in 2008, imported by Freespirit Campervans in late 2021 and first registered in the UK by them in February 2022 — which is also the conversion date. The 2022 figure on the advert is that UK first-registration/conversion date, which is what we record.
Buyer Marie (inq on 2008 Viano, Gosport) first asked whether there are 2 belts up front plus 2 on the back seat. We replied with the owner's earlier answer: 2 travelling seats only. She has now replied saying the photos show belts on the rock 'n' roll bench and wants the seller to confirm. Note the seller's own listing form says 4 travelling seats, and the DVLA record shows 4 seats, which doesn't match the owner's earlier answer. That needs clearing up before we tell buyers anything else.
