Recent work — the damp, in full
Damp was picked up at the habitation check in April 2026, and the owner is keen for it to be out in the open so any prospective buyer knows exactly where they stand.
The source of the ingress was traced to the side rails below the nearside locker. Those rails were replaced and sealed by Fox County, a local motorhome and caravan company, at a cost of £800. In other words the cause was found and dealt with, not simply patched over the visible damage.
The owner has the habitation check paperwork and the repair documentation, setting out exactly what was found and what was done, and he's happy for it all to be gone through at a viewing.
MOT is valid until April 2027 and the vehicle is taxed.
Viewings are at the owner's own home in the Lutterworth area of Leicestershire, where he'll be happy to show you round.
Questions & Answers
Buyer Denise Pitcher asked "how long are the seats please" regarding the Auto-Trail Tracker SE lounge conversion seating.
The lounge seats are 5 feet long (153cm) and 29 inches wide (74cm).
Carlene Nicol is enquiring about the 2003 Auto-Trail Tracker SE and wants to understand whether the £800 damp repair addressed the root cause or was just a surface repair, before deciding whether to view.
The damp was identified at the habitation check in April 2026. The owner has the paperwork from that check along with the documentation for the repair work that was then carried out, which sets out exactly what was found and what was done — he's happy for it to be seen, and it can be gone through in full at a viewing.
Buyer asked if the cam belt and water pump have been replaced. Cambelt answered from seller details; water pump unknown.
Yes. The paperwork the owner got when he bought the motorhome shows the water pump was changed at the same time as the cambelt, in 2018 at 44,460 miles.
Buyer Anthony (eBay enquiry, 2 Oct 2026) asked by SMS: "Can you confirm that the damp issue has gone after the repair." We know the cause was traced and repaired, but have nothing on a post-repair damp reading. He also needs to sell his caravan before buying.
No damp readings or checks have been taken since the repair work was done, so there isn't any post-repair damp paperwork. The owner does have the paperwork from the April 2026 habitation check that found the damp, and the documents for the repair itself (side rails below the nearside locker replaced and sealed by Fox County). He's happy for those to be gone through at a viewing.
