Built on the Peugeot Boxer base, the Bailey Advance 63-5 is a well-known coachbuilt motorhome that makes a practical choice for couples or small families looking for a capable touring vehicle. It has covered just 18,500 miles from new and the MOT is valid until May 2027.
The rear can be arranged as two single beds, each measuring 6' x 2'6", or made up as a double measuring 6' x 6'8". It's a genuinely flexible sleeping arrangement.
The Whale heating and hot water system has recently been renewed/repaired and is working perfectly, running on either gas or electric.

Buyer Stephen Schiltz enquired via the website asking about service history, damp/damage, tyre condition, bed layout (specifically whether the rear bed makes a double) and the heating/water system.
Bed layout: the rear bed can be arranged either as two singles (each 6' x 2'6") or made up as a double (6' x 6'8"). The owner has taken photos showing both arrangements. Service history: serviced in 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2026 — last serviced 12/06/2026. Damp/damage: no accident damage. The habitation report noted slightly high moisture levels, and the advice was simply to air the motorhome, which the owners have done. Tyres: not replaced since the MOT; the owner says they appear fine. Heating and hot water: Whale system, which has just been renewed/repaired and is working perfectly. It runs on either gas or electric (the owner has the repair invoice).
Buyer Ashley enquired via AutoTrader on 27 Sep 2026 asking about wet belt history and evidence on the 2017 Bailey Advance 63-5. Not on the previously-asked questions list, so asking the owner now to make sure it has gone.
The owner says the wet belt (timing belt) has not been changed yet, so there's no invoice for it. He's checked with the dealers, who told him it has a 10-year lifespan, so it will be due for changing next year (2027).
