Questions & Answers
Buyer Andrew Simmons is specifically looking for a Euro 4 vehicle and has spotted the advert shows petrol while DVLA shows otherwise.
The V5C doesn't show a Euro emissions band. From what the owner has been able to find, Euro 3 is the widely accepted classification for a 2004 Fiat Ducato diesel.
Buyer Barry Short (77) is keen but wants reassurance about reliability — he's asked what faults might need fixing on the chassis, body and engine.
The owner has come back with the following, based on the advisories from the last MOT at the end of May 2026: Tyres — one tyre is close to the legal limit and another is worn unevenly, so those two would likely need replacing in the coming year. Chassis/underside — the MOT noted the vehicle structure is corroded, but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced. (The owner has also told us it was undersealed in 2021.) Cambelt — this has been done: changed on 04/09/2019. Our details previously showed it as not done and that has now been corrected. Damp — there is no history or signs of damp.
Buyer Claire asked about previous owners and how long the current owner has had the vehicle.
The V5C shows the number of former keepers as 10. The current owner has had it since November 2020, when he bought it from a dealer.
