Motorhome Pig is pleased to offer this 2012 Peugeot Boxer campervan conversion as a broker, on behalf of the private owner.
This is a converted Boxer built around a fixed rear bed with a dedicated garage beneath — a practical layout well suited to couples or small groups. The garage accommodates a coolbox, luggage, camping gear, and folding chairs. The vehicle is from a non-smoking owner.
The owner advises the conversion is equipped with a gas hob and oven, a gas/electric fridge, a water pump, two water tanks, an LPG tank, and solar panels supplying two leisure batteries. The owner also advises a service was carried out in October 2025, and that the MOT is valid until October 2026. There is an engine rattle which needs further investigation. Buyer Andrew enquired via the website and selected "Damp/damage" as one of his questions. We don't have a recent damp reading or damage note on file.
The owner advises there are no damp problems in the van — the last damp check was in 2020. There are a couple of minor bodywork/paintwork issues, and the owner has sent photos of these which we can share.
Buyer Rachel enquired via the website and selected "Heating/water" and "Dashboard" among her questions. The listing mentions a water pump, two water tanks and an LPG tank but nothing about a heater, hot water or the dashboard.
Heating is a Propex 129 LPG blown-air unit. The van has cold water only (no hot water system). On the dashboard, there's a glow plug message before starting which clears once running, and no warning lights showing when the engine is running.
Richard Sanders enquired via the website selecting a large range of question categories (including bathroom, control panel, electrics) and specifically asked about "electrical pick up" in his own comments - I can answer most from existing listing/seller details but not whether there's a bathroom or a mains hook-up point.
The owner advises there is no separate bathroom, toilet or shower area in the conversion. It does have a mains hook-up (EHU) point for the electrics, alongside the solar set-up.
Justin Watson enquired via the website asking specifically about hook-up, leisure batteries, inverter and solar panels. Hook-up, leisure batteries and solar are already known from the listing/seller details, but there's no mention of an inverter anywhere in our records.
The owner believes there is an inverter fitted alongside the solar panels and twin leisure batteries, though he didn't have the size/type to hand. There are two 240v sockets under the left-side bench seat, and two cigar-lighter (12V) sockets with USB converters under the edge of the bed.
Buyer Justin (Newcastle area, budget £4-5k, wants a 3-berth with hook-up and off-grid kit) emailed on 27 Sep asking about hook-up, leisure batteries, inverter, solar and internal sockets/USB ports. From the listing we know hook-up, solar and twin leisure batteries are fitted. The inverter and sockets/USB aren't confirmed.

Buyer Billy Russell enquired via Autotrader on 28 Sep 2026 asking to view, test drive and pay cash. Our email said a test drive was normally fine, but our SMS said test drives weren't offered, so he got mixed messages. He has replied 'No intron need test drive', which sounds like a test drive is a must for him. I'm asking the owner so I can give him a straight answer.
The owner is happy to offer a test drive at the viewing. As mentioned in the advert, there's an engine knock/rattle that needs further investigation, so he'd prefer the test drive is kept short and doesn't go too far.
Buyer Billy Russell (Boxer lead) emailed on 30 Sep: "So it will be cash transfer from me am a want see it v5 an drive away if it's ok". The 12-month MOT question has been open since 28 Sep and nothing has gone to the owner yet (see open task), so I've included it here.
The owner is happy for the balance to be paid to him by bank transfer on the day, once the money is showing in his own account.
Buyer Robert Lees said he can't see the MOT, or any mention of rust underneath or major issues, on the listing.
The owner isn't aware of any rust beyond the nearside rear sill/arch corrosion noted at the last MOT. Apart from the noisy engine (the engine rattle already mentioned in the advert), he says the van drives fine.
