Questions & Answers

Q

Buyer noticed the van has no current MOT and wants to know if it'll be MOT'd before sale.

A

No — it's being sold as seen, with no fresh MOT before sale.

Q

Buyer asked why it's priced low, whether it would pass an MOT, and how much work is needed.

A

The seller advises it needs a repaired or replacement fuel pump, so it's not currently in running/driving order. It was only used about 5 times in the 12 months he had it on the road. Its last MOT had just one advisory (underside coated in underseal).

Q

Buyer Matt asked if it's still available and whether we'd consider delivering it somewhere in the UK.

A

It's collection only — no delivery available.

Q

Buyer Daryl noticed the recorded mileage was higher at a 2019 MOT than at the 2024 MOT and wants an explanation before viewing.

A

Phil was told the vehicle has a replacement engine with a corresponding (matching) speedometer, which explains the difference between the higher mileage recorded in 2019 and the lower reading at the most recent MOT.

How Buying Works

We make buying a motorhome safe, simple, and stress-free. Here's how we help you every step of the way.

1

Find Your Perfect Match

Our site is not open to the public. All sellers are under exclusive 90-day contracts with Motorhome Pig, having signed legally binding agreements. We verify the owner's identity and ownership and run HPI, finance and theft checks on every vehicle — the condition itself is yours to judge in person when you view it.

2

Meet the Real Owner

We arrange your viewing at the motorhome's location and give you everything you need to make a confident decision — including a simple checklist of what to look at, from damp and habitation to the engine and paperwork. No pressure, no salesperson — just you, the owner, and the motorhome. Take your time and ask anything.

3

Secure Handover

We provide finance options, handover guidance, and support with the V5 and paperwork. No buyer fees — the price you see is the price you pay.

💚 No Buyer Fees— The price you see is exactly what you pay. We're here to help, not add costs.

More Than Just a Motorhome

Motorhome Pig can introduce you to our partners for finance, free 14-day driveaway insurance, and vehicle repair plans.

Motorhome Pig is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We introduce customers to FCA-authorised partners for finance and insurance, and to Warranty First (a Motor Ombudsman-accredited repair plan provider) for warranty.
