Questions & Answers
Buyer is asking about the actual payload once fully fuelled, whether the motorhome can carry or tow a Vespa scooter (is there a tow bar fitted?), and whether a copy of the habitation report from August 2024 can be shared.
1) Unladen/MIRO weight: The seller isn't sure of the exact unladen weight. The V5C/log book shows a Revenue (Gross) weight of 3,500 kg. 2) Tow bar: The seller can't remember if one is fitted — the motorhome is currently in storage and she will check tomorrow morning (29 May). The garage is large enough to fit a Vespa scooter. 3) Habitation check: Yes, the seller can show the 2024 habitation check report at the viewing. Additionally, a follow-up damp survey was carried out in 2025 by the original dealer (Broadlane Leisure of Kenilworth). Their senior service and repair manager found the 2024 report to be very inaccurate. Remedial water ingress work was completed — the entire garage area was lined, reinforced and damp-proofed, and an outside panel that was letting water in was also sealed. The rest of the van was fine. The seller has all the paperwork for both the report and the remedial work and will show everything at the viewing.

Buyer is asking specifically why the engine needed reconditioning and wants more detail on the circumstances behind it.
Yes, the engine was reconditioned following an engine failure caused by a cracked piston. The replacement engine came from Ivor Searle (a recognised engine reconditioning specialist) and carries a one-year guarantee. The work was carried out by a specialist Ford garage, and the seller has all the paperwork for the work, plus a service and MOT completed in March 2026.
