2018 Volkswagen T6 Campervan — Video Tour

Right, we'll do a quick walk around the tool of the van. So it's a 50PS automatic, this is the cab. We are at just over 86,000 miles. Connects to Android, Apple via Bluetooth.

It is used daily as a builder's van and it will still be used daily until it gets sold. And there's still a few little touching up bits to do. I still want to paint this up there. These seats have been on for two years now.

They've held up well, but with me going in and out of it every day, they could do with replacing, but honestly they're absolutely fine. These are the common seats. The third seat is removed as that allows for bed space and the cooler fridge. Great there, and then this is like a built in box for the fridge.

You've got an LED light system that runs off of the little battery, the leisure battery setup I've got. Wooden bulkhead. So this saves access to the battery down there. It's a DCI Power V2000 with an inverter and that on the left is the controller for the light system.

Nothing fancy, nothing overly technical. To take it out you have to roll the seats forwards and it pulls out just fine. Curtains. There's dual sliding doors with open windows and the curtains do close.

Tower gate. So it's very nice when it's raining. You can stand here and you're not as affected by the rain as you normally would be. This is the bed setup.

So it does pull out into a double bed. You've got the other cushion there. It basically pulls out, slots into this and then that cushion goes in there. And you can sleep a 6ft person or 6 plus foot person and then someone that's under 6ft can slide in there quite happily.

But most of the time I sleep with the tower gate up wherever I go because it's safe and comfortable. Just a normal foam cushion. That's how I sleep with my cosy sleeping bag on it. I've got an oak worktop thing.

I'm still in the process of finishing a drawer system in here. And then a little drawer system on top of that. A flush, a lifty panel. A coffee machine.

A toilet roll holder. And then up there will be a couple of coffee granules and stuff. A Molle system panel. Still this can just be removed.

This is all just personal preference. This is how I built it for me. Oak worktop. I could do with a touch-up paint and stuff.

But a good light system. And as with that, off, on. Super bright. Modes are, you've got a couple of modes on it.

It's going to be front mode. So if you want just lights on in the front and then press the button. Lights on all over. Or if you just want lights in the back, press it again and that's lights in the back.

And then that's that. Let's put that back onto that mode. That's got night time mode as well. So there we go, dimmed the night.

It still doesn't look like it but it's still quite bright at night to be honest. A couple of storage tray there. Hooks for coats. Coats stay there.

And here I've got what I call a crock storage. But to be honest it's a bit rag-tag. If it falls out I've got my crocks in there for showering or for the water. I may take these out or I may leave these in depending on if the customer wants them left in.

There's two storage drawers. I'm a builder so that's where I store a few of my bits and bobs. And then I've got a lock box here. I don't have a lot of building tools but that is where I fit all of my power tools and expensive stuff.

And that all ties away nicely into the bed system. Locks and it can't really be seen from the outside so if you are a builder you can... It just looks like a campervan but it's a dual purpose. And we come round to the kitchen.

This is all obviously removable and stuff. So we've got a little worktop table. Just pull this stick out. Stick it there.

And that stays like that. And if you want to use it at night these come out of the original LEDs of the van. Nice long light. You just press them and that's your kitchen light if you're working outside.

Or you can use it as a reading light or a back reading light. And that just tucks away nicely. So fridge. Once again if the customer wants it they can have it.

If not I'll remove it and use it in my next van. Curtain. Curtain pole going across there. Yet to get a curtain for it.

Still in the process of finding it out. So this is the tip of the bed. This cushion here is a single cushion. That can be removed and placed on top of that because it's exactly the same size.

And you end up with like a L shape sort of sofa. There's a bit more storage down here for cups and coffee or whatever. And yeah. That's that.

There's a bit of cleaning up to do and stuff but I'll get to that before I sell it. Still a bit of carpet lining to do on the edges of the trims. What else? Roof rack.

Draw sliding doors. Curtains. Really good curtains these actually. Super impressed with them.

Nice big chunky wheels. They can amazingly go anywhere in them. Even though it's a two wheel drive van I've never been stuck in it. What else?

Oh yeah another one of them lights like at the kitchen area. We've got at the back here. So you can shine a light now onto your tools. If you need to look at tools in the back.

You just wedge that in the corner. Yeah. Totally charged. I'm charging the battery at the moment so I didn't show the lights.

It was dead. Toggle bar with electrics. What else have we got? The sink.

I think that's it really. Yeah roof rack. A Rhino roof rack. Yeah the AC.

That's on each side. It's a very clean builder's van I've got to be honest. Yeah and it's just two single seats not a double seat like in a Crafter. Yeah I think that's it.
