So here is the camper. Volkswagen Crafted 2017. Another lump, bump or scratch. Up there, that lump on the top, that is an aircon and heating unit and when you're in 35 degrees which I was recently, that aircon is worth its weight in gold.
You've got the cab, that is the sat-nav, that is the reversing camera and that is to hold your phone. On the bottom there you can see the pedal lock and the steering lock and it's also got a ghost immobiliser and a European tracker. Going round to the back, you've got storage there, that's the bed at the top. That on the left is a single bed but it's that cramped you'd need to be little.
Wringing you round to the side door. Under there you've got your fridge, that plugs into the 12 volt power in the cab when you're moving and then plugs into the electric. It goes that cold, you can get ice cubes. That is the living area and where the chair is there, I bought that so it's more comfortable.
In there, that's a table and that fits in on the base there so there's a table. On the roof, that's your aircon unit and your heating unit when it gets colder. Then you've got your gas hob and your sink. Under there, I've used that as storage but it was designed for a little dog to stay in and then you've got an electric radiator there.
In here is the toilet but I use it for storage. Being held up with the wooden pool is the bed and that's because the gas struts there are not strong enough. When I bought it, it had a crummy little thin mattress on it and those gas struts worked. Now it doesn't so they may need upgrading.
The solar panel on the roof, that controls all your lights and gives you the power with one leisure battery which is in the cab and there is room to put another leisure battery if you wish. So there we have it. Sitting on my chair, comfy as a comfy thing. Now let me show you the bed when it's down.
And there we have the bed. New mattress with a mattress topper, that comfortable, you don't want to get out of it. In the corners there, you've got reading lamps and they are by the solar panel and there is a little section to keep the air flowing through. There we have it.
