2010 Auto-Trail Navajo Motorhome — Video Tour (Part 2 of 2)

As you step into your new motorhome, directly above the door is your main control panel. This button turns on the leisure battery. This has to be on all the time if you want to use anything in the vehicle. If you push this button, you can see it goes on to engine battery.

That's only for an emergency. Always make sure you're working off the leisure battery, so only use that button. This one puts power to your water pump for running water. And this one puts on an outside light, that's an awning light.

The up and down arrows are a menu to go around the vehicle, checking what's going on with your water and your waste water and the leisure battery condition. And the middle button takes you into the menu if you want to change the time and date. Next to that you have two dials. This one here gives you hot water using the gas bottle.

So you flick it down to the flame and you get a green light. And that lights the boiler on gas and gives you hot water. This dial gives you central heating off electricity. So that dial on the right makes this heater get hot using electricity when you're on a campsite.

This switch here is mood lighting around the tops of the cupboards. The heater works off of gas as well by holding this round and holding it down onto the number 5 and you will see a flame in that window. Once the heater is nice and hot using either gas or the right hand dial on electric, once you notice you've got nice heat coming from this, you can turn on a fan and blow that hot air around the vehicle and into the bathroom so you can use it as an airing cupboard. There are some isolation switches for the electrical appliances and they should always be in the down position.

The hob, the cooker and the grill is gas only but there is an electric hot plate on the back corner and that's the left hand dial there when you're plugged into a campsite. To use the fridge, you turn on the fridge by holding down the small button and the fridge comes on. If you leave it on automatic the fridge will automatically choose what fuel to run on. As you can see it's gone on to gas.

You can override that by pushing this button and you can put it on to alternator or you can put it on to gas or you can put it on to mains electric when you're on a campsite. But if you leave it set to auto the fridge will work out what's best to run from. This button here changes the thermostat so further up the scale the colder the fridge gets and this small button here if you hold it down turns the fridge off. In the front top cupboard there is your main brains of the vehicle.

This red switch should always be on and that turns on your battery charger when you're plugged into a site. These are your fuses which are labelled for the 12 volt system and this is your main strip switch which will always be up in that position when you're plugged into electric. If you want to use the entertainment system and telly you have to flick this switch on and you have to make sure your booster is turned on. The red light means you've got no signal but if you turn this and push it up that light will eventually go to green to give you a signal.

You drop the telly down like so and you turn on the radio using the remote control there and that will link the telly to the radio to give you surround sound. Underneath that locker there is a switch here and if you flick it on it turns on an inverter underneath this seat if you ever need to charge anything off electric whilst you're off grid. There are a few nice features in the cab including swivel seats by pulling on this metal lever here cruise control, cab air conditioning and that will act as a fridge when you're driving. The bathroom is a standard bathroom and toilet and to use the toilet you lift up the toilet seat and you move the grey lever to the right which opens up the loo first.

Once you finish using the toilet you push the blue button to flush the chain and then it's very important you shut that valve when you're finished. That's the valve that has to be shut if you want to pull the toilet out from the outside. From all of us at AMC we hope you enjoy your new motorhome and we'll get the video over to you.
