Buyer Noels Murrin is genuinely interested and wants to understand the service/mechanical history before travelling to view.
The camper came to Russell recently, inherited from a family member who had cherished it, and he's gone through all the paperwork left with it: 1. Service history — there is a fully filled-out service book showing the services carried out. There's no mention of any gearbox work or gearbox oil/fluid service in it. 2. Brakes — there's an invoice for all new brake hoses (replacement done). On the recent MOT advisory, the rear brake disc is only slightly scored; the mechanic advised it isn't urgent and would be around £120 to sort. 3. Oil leak — that was just a sump plug, which has been replaced and is all done. A new turbo was fitted on 8 August 2024. 4. Conversion — Russell has been in touch with Camper King, who are confident the conversion was carried out in 2014. He can't find any paperwork for the gas or electrical installation, and understands the point about a habitation certificate — happy to discuss that. 5. Bodywork — Russell isn't a vehicle expert but says the whole vehicle has clearly been well looked after, which shows in the bodywork: only minor marks for its age. It was garaged the whole time his relative owned it, which has plainly helped its condition. It's now kept in dry storage at a local company.
