Questions & Answers

Q

Buyer Ian Butler emailed 21 Sep 2026 asking if the Apache 700 has gone. His £23,000 offer was declined by the owner on 17 Sep (her £26,000 counter stood). Listing still shows as advertised, but confirming availability with the owner before telling the buyer.

A

The owner has taken a deposit from a private buyer and, subject to an MOT this week, expects to complete that sale by the end of the week — so the Apache 700 isn't available at the moment.

Q

Buyer Gary Smith enquired via the website and ticked Service history, Damp/damage, Previous owners and Tyre condition as questions. The other points are covered by existing seller-provided details, but damp/damage isn't, so checking directly.

A

No known damp or damage. The motorhome had a habitation check in April 2026 with no damp noted, the owners have never had a damp problem, and the habitation checks carried out before they bought it didn't raise any damp issues either.

Q

Buyer Ian Butler emailed 29 Sept 08:33 asking if the sale went through, because the listing is live again at £30,000 (previously £28,800). On 21 Sept the owner said a deposit had been taken from a private buyer, with completion expected that week subject to MOT. His £23,000 offer was declined on 17 Sept. Asking the owner to confirm whether it's available now.

A

Yes, the Apache 700 is still available. The private sale didn't go ahead, so it's back on the market and open to buyers again.

Q

Buyer Ian Butler emailed 29 Sept 09:32 asking whether the viewing is in the Nantwich area or Stoke-on-Trent. He said he could do Nantwich today (too short notice, since we need 24 hours) and Stoke would have to be the weekend. The listing description says it's viewable at Nantwich, but the location field says Stoke-on-Trent. Asking the owner to confirm the location and whether the weekend suits.

A

The motorhome is normally kept in storage in the Nantwich area, and that's where viewings would be. It'll go back there after its MOT. At the moment it's still at the garage having the advisories sorted. The garage is doing the work in stages and it could be there a while, so the owner isn't sure it'll be ready to view this weekend (Sat 3 / Sun 4 October).

Q

Buyer Ian Butler texted 29 Sep 09:44 asking what work is being done. The owner said earlier today that it's at the garage having the advisories sorted before its MOT, in stages. The buyer wants more detail so he can plan a viewing.

A

The garage is working on the brakes and some of the springs. The owner is waiting to hear back from the garage on a finish date, but expects it'll be a week or two yet, because the garage is fitting the job in around other work. Once it's done and back in storage in the Nantwich area, we can look at viewing dates.

How Buying Works

We make buying a motorhome safe, simple, and stress-free. Here's how we help you every step of the way.

1

Find Your Perfect Match

Our site is not open to the public. All sellers are under exclusive 90-day contracts with Motorhome Pig, having signed legally binding agreements. We verify the owner's identity and ownership and run HPI, finance and theft checks on every vehicle — the condition itself is yours to judge in person when you view it.

2

Meet the Real Owner

We arrange your viewing at the motorhome's location and give you everything you need to make a confident decision — including a simple checklist of what to look at, from damp and habitation to the engine and paperwork. No pressure, no salesperson — just you, the owner, and the motorhome. Take your time and ask anything.

3

Secure Handover

We provide finance options, handover guidance, and support with the V5 and paperwork. No buyer fees — the price you see is the price you pay.

💚 No Buyer Fees— The price you see is exactly what you pay. We're here to help, not add costs.

More Than Just a Motorhome

Motorhome Pig can introduce you to our partners for finance, free 14-day driveaway insurance, and vehicle repair plans.

Motorhome Pig is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We introduce customers to FCA-authorised partners for finance and insurance, and to Warranty First (a Motor Ombudsman-accredited repair plan provider) for warranty.
