Questions & Answers
Tim Lowe enquired via the website asking about damp/damage, marks and scratches, habitation check and MOT, plus general condition of the living area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
The owner reports no issues at all with damp — no known damp or water ingress, and no history of damp treatment or repairs. Externally there are just a few odd marks/blemishes on the bodywork.
Peter West enquired via AutoTrader saying the photos appear to show a fixed double bed while the description states single beds, and wants to know which it is.
The owner has confirmed the rear bed is one fixed double bed (not twin singles) — the photos are correct and the advert wording is being updated.
Richard Morton enquired via the website asking for more detail on service and MOT history, plus previous owners.
The owner confirms the Bolero has had three previous owners before him, and it was given a fresh MOT last week (early September 2026).
Pete Murgatroyd enquired via AutoTrader about the Swift Bolero 680FB asking about cambelt change history and tyre replacement dates.
The owner has had the motorhome since May last year. There's no record of the timing/cam belt having been changed as far as he's aware. He believes the tyres were replaced by the previous owner. It also had a fresh MOT last week.
Buyer Owen Brazier enquired via AutoTrader on 13 Sept about the 2011 Swift Bolero 680FB (£29,495, Workington). His key criteria are a fixed double bed plus bench seats of at least 5ft. He's asked for the exact bench seat dimensions before deciding whether to travel to view. Previously viewed a Cheyenne in Deeside (didn't proceed) and has been discussing an Airstream with Malachy.
The owner has confirmed the lounge bench/settee seats are not 5ft long.
