1998 Auto-Sleepers Executive EK

Motorhome Pig is proud to offer this 1998 Auto-Sleepers Executive EK as a broker, on behalf of the private owner.

This coachbuilt motorhome is a practical four-berth layout with a lounge bedroom and twin single rear beds. It is well suited to couples and families seeking a comfortable touring base. The vehicle is a non-smoker and has been well maintained, with a full service history and a recent service completed in January 2025. The owner advises the cambelt was changed at 60,000 miles.

The motorhome is powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine with manual transmission. The owner notes that whilst the non-turbo engine can be slow on steep hills, it cruises well at motorway speeds on level ground. Both the cab and leisure batteries are in good condition, and the tyres are reported as good.

The owner notes that the plastic casing on one side of the exterior has sustained some damage; otherwise the motorhome is ready for viewing and use.

Questions & Answers

Q

Buyer has asked a detailed enquiry covering many aspects of the motorhome including heating/water system, whether the price is negotiable, the control panel, and the exterior condition including any marks or scratches.

A

1) Heating: The motorhome has a gas fire which runs from the gas bottle. It also has an electric fan option which works off the electric hook-up on site. The water heating system works from the same method (gas/electric). All in working order. 2) Price: No flexibility on the asking price at the moment. 3) Control panel: No answer provided. 4) Exterior: The plastic casing on one side has been damaged, but apart from that nothing else to note.

Q

Buyer is asking whether there is room to store a spare 7kg gas cylinder in the motorhome.

A

There's no specific dedicated space for a spare 7kg gas cylinder, but you could likely find somewhere to store one if needed. The current gas cylinder is nearly full and is stored safely in the storage area on the side of the motorhome.

Q

Buyer is asking whether the diesel engine is a turbo diesel, as they feel non-turbo 1.9 engines are massively underpowered for a motorhome.

A

The engine is not turbocharged. The non-turbo 1.9 can be slow going uphill, but once on the flat it cruises well at 70mph.

Q

Buyer Shaun thinks the exterior looks rather mucky in the pictures and wants to know if it's been cleaned since the photos were taken.

A

That's how it's looking at the moment, but if a buyer's interested in a viewing the seller would give it a good clean with their jet washer beforehand.

How Buying Works

We make buying a motorhome safe, simple, and stress-free. Here's how we help you every step of the way.

1

Find Your Perfect Match

Our site is not open to the public. All sellers are under exclusive 90-day contracts with Motorhome Pig, having signed legally binding agreements. We verify the owner's identity and ownership and run HPI, finance and theft checks on every vehicle — the condition itself is yours to judge in person when you view it.

2

Meet the Real Owner

We arrange your viewing at the motorhome's location and give you everything you need to make a confident decision — including a simple checklist of what to look at, from damp and habitation to the engine and paperwork. No pressure, no salesperson — just you, the owner, and the motorhome. Take your time and ask anything.

3

Secure Handover

We provide finance options, handover guidance, and support with the V5 and paperwork. No buyer fees — the price you see is the price you pay.

💚 No Buyer Fees— The price you see is exactly what you pay. We're here to help, not add costs.
