Motorhome Pig is proud to offer this 2017 Volkswagen Crafter campervan conversion as a broker, on behalf of the private owner.
This is a self-build conversion on a Euro 6 Volkswagen Crafter, finished in silver and presented as a capable, fully off-grid campervan. The layout features a fixed rear bed with a large garage area beneath, offering generous storage. The owner advises the van is well suited to couples or small groups looking for independent travel.
The owner advises an extensive electrical system has been fitted, comprising a 560Ah lithium battery bank, two solar panels with a 60A controller, a Renogy 50A split charger, and a 3,000W inverter. Fresh water capacity is 180 litres. A Truma boiler provides central heating and hot water, running on electric hookup or gas. A shower and toilet are fitted. A 12V phone-connectable fridge, Samsung smart TV, Apple CarPlay head unit, reversing camera, and 12V USB ports and mains sockets throughout are also included, along with CBE electrics controllable via remote or smartphone app.
The owner advises recent mechanical work including four new injectors, a new turbo, cambelt and water pump kit, and a full service. The engine has been remapped to approximately 177 bhp. Four new BF Goodrich tyres have been fitted. The cambelt was changed in 2026 at approximately 145,000 miles. The vehicle is a non-smoker.
