Questions & Answers
Buyer Paul Eaton enquired via the listing page asking about rear access, USB/plug sockets, roof ventilation/AC, the reason for the engine rebuild, and the MOT underseal advisory.
1) The rear is permanently closed — the rear doors are welded shut as part of the conversion. 2) Yes — 6 x USB ports (two on each plug socket) as well as the 240v sockets. 3) No roof vent. That was a deliberate choice by the owner — they tend to leak and perish after a few years, and he didn't want the noise of rain. 4) The engine was rebuilt after his brother borrowed the van and hit a high kerb in London. The engine was switched off immediately and the van was sent to a professional engine rebuilder — receipts are available. 5) On the underseal advisory: the owner asked the MOT garage why it was listed and was told it's what they now have to note on undersealed vans. He took it to a second garage who said they wouldn't have recorded it as an advisory at all. The owner also says a mechanical inspection is welcome, as long as it's by a professional outfit such as the AA.
