According to the seller, the engine is belt driven (confirmed via research). The timing belt has not been replaced during their ownership (they've had the van under a year, since May 2025). The current mileage is around 33,000 miles, and the recommended replacement interval is approximately 150,000 miles, so it's well within its service life.

Buyer is asking about the condition of the dashboard, control panel, exterior bodywork, and any marks or scratches. They're also interested in part-exchanging a 2011 Honda Stepwagon conversion (interior by Scotia Campers, pop-top by Drivelodge) and would like a ballpark part-exchange price.

Buyer is asking about the approximate MPG, the annual road tax cost, and whether the Pinto is suitable for European travel (emissions/LEZ zones etc).
MPG: Around 40-50 on a decent run. Road tax: £206 for 6 months or £375 a year. The seller lives in Glasgow and is not aware of any low emission zone issues there. The van has never been taken to Europe.
