Questions & Answers
Buyer Jerry enquired via eBay asking for a description or photos of the wiring by the carb. Earlier replies told him we'd asked the owner. He has now requested a viewing for Wed 14 Oct at lunchtime.
The owner has taken four photos of the carburettor area, one from each side, so you can see the wiring and connections around it. He says he's never worked on the engine himself, but it has had two services at a local VW garage. The team will send the photos over to you.
Buyer owns a T25, has fitted a recon engine and is having electrical connection trouble at the loom near the carb. He asked for a description or photos of the wiring and connections in that area.
One more thing from the owner: he says it's very difficult to see where any of the wires go around the carb, even with the photos, and thinks you'd probably have better luck looking up a wiring guide online.
Buyer Thomas Bowden (Autotrader enquiry, 18 Oct 2026) asked by SMS if the service history can be sent through. The advert says it has part service history, last serviced 10 July 2025.
The owner has sent three photos of the service paperwork he's been able to find. He says that's all he has: he couldn't find the bills for the two new batteries or for one of the services. The team will send the photos over to you.

Seller's ID verified by Motorhome PigA quick honest note
Because you're buying directly from the owner, the condition of the motorhome is yours to judge on the day - and that's a good thing (it's why there's no dealer markup). We verify ownership and run an HPI check; the motorhome's condition is the one thing best judged in person. We'll give you a checklist so you can view like a pro and satisfy yourself everything's spot-on before you buy.
Our checks cover the seller and the registers, not the vehicle itself, and they rely on data supplied to us by third parties, so we can't accept responsibility for errors or omissions in it. However thorough our checks are, please arrange your own independent inspection and your own history check before you commit to buying.
