Buyer wants to know about mechanical maintenance history (water pump, clutch etc) beyond the noted full service history.
The owner has checked through the paperwork file and confirms: new dual mass flywheel fitted July 2025 (Vee W Services Ltd, Bedminster, Bristol), full engine service July 2025 (Jeff's VW Shack Ltd, Bristol), and an interim engine service June 2026 (West Hoe Garage, Stonehouse, Plymouth). The cambelt isn't due yet as per the manufacturer's recommended service intervals.
Buyer Wendy is interested but wants to know if the factory floor rails extend fully to the rear so a further double seat could potentially be added.
The owner confirms the factory floor rails do run from front to back, so technically there is room to fit another double row of seats — though he says it would be a bit cramped. As standard there's a single removable seat that fits between the front and rear seats, making it a 5-seater, and that fifth seat swivels a full 360 degrees so it can face forwards too. He's sent a picture showing what the fifth seat looks like. His view is that a better solution for six seats would be to swap the front passenger single seat for a double, and he knows a professional VW T5 converter who has done exactly that conversion on other vans and could be recommended.
