This is a converted Renault Trafic finished in silver, built around a fixed bed and rock 'n' roll bed layout, making it a practical and versatile choice for couples or small groups. The owner advises the vehicle is a non-smoker.
Pop-top roof
The van has a pop-top roof, fitted by Creative V-Dub South, and the owner has the paperwork for it with the van. The owner advises the roof is sturdy and would comfortably take a solar panel if a future owner wanted to add one.
Inside
The rock 'n' roll seat/double bed comes with a strength and anchorage M1 compliance certificate, which is in the paperwork with the van. The owner advises the fridge is in full working order, and that the entire living area — including the rear doors — is comfortably lined, with nothing cold to the touch. There is no habitation heating fitted at present, as it wasn't something the owner needed, and the owner advises there is nothing to stop one being added.
History and paperwork
The owner advises a full service history is present, with the most recent service carried out in October 2025, and that documentation has been kept for all work carried out since the van was converted in 2020. Documentation includes the V5C, service book, owner's manual and receipts, all presented in a clip binder. Two keys are included. The owner advises the leisure battery is new and that a new turbo was fitted in July 2023.

Questions & Answers
Buyer asked about timing belt, water pump, clutch and turbo history. We can answer cambelt (chain driven) and turbo (new turbo July 2023) from the seller's details, but water pump and clutch aren't covered.
The owner has had the van since 2022. The turbo was replaced in July 2023. The clutch has not been replaced during their ownership and has shown no sign of needing it. The water pump works fine — the water pipe was changed earlier this year.
Tina Davenport, buyer from Cambridge (Autotrader enquiry, 6 Sept 2026) on the 2013 Renault Trafic (£17,500). Owner already answered her mechanical questions today (turbo, clutch, water pump). She's now asked about M1 bed certification, pop-top make, habitation/gas/electrical certification, fridge, and solar/diesel heating provision. Not answerable from listing or seller details.
1) Yes — the rock 'n' roll bed certificate is an M1 compliance certificate, and the owner has it with the van's paperwork. 2) Yes, the van does have a pop-top roof. It was fitted by Creative V-Dub South and the owner has the paperwork for it. (The owner is still coming back on the gas/electrical safety documentation, the fridge, and the habitation heating / whether solar or a diesel heater could be added — I'll pass those on as soon as I have them.)
Tina Davenport (buyer, Cambridge, cash buyer) is weighing this 2013 Trafic at £17,500 against a cheaper 2012 Trafic high top. She emailed today saying the service history detail is the last thing she needs before committing to a video call and then travelling. Asking the owner directly rather than raising a task.
The owner has sent photographs of the paperwork. Everything he holds on the van is kept together in one binder, and he's taken an aerial shot showing the full binder contents, plus individual photos of the bigger jobs carried out during his ownership. He's also clarified one point on the earlier mechanical answer: the ENGINE BAY water pipe has not been replaced and has not needed to be. It was the CABIN water pipe that was replaced, and the owner did that himself.
